Kat in Boots. She plays it well, but those are some TALL boots. They're practically [censored]-less chaps without the belt.
Gearhead mechanic in the digital era, who will probably grow up is in the process of growing up to be a very grumpy old man.

Re: Sketch of the Day
I mean the puss in boots was not named like that because of his small unassuming barely noticeable boots.
I like this one. I wonder how would digitigrade thigh high boots would work?
Also the rapier is a bit short ...

A lot like high-heeled thigh-high boots... except they wouldn't actually need the spike heel.Technic[Bot] wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 1:52 am I like this one. I wonder how would digitigrade thigh high boots would work?
Re: Sketch of the Day
Well, at least Kat didn't end up with a pair of Judge Dredd's stompy green wellies.
Next up:
The Greatest Natural Wonder
I wonder what would happen if Kat, Laura, and Willow were to find Taylor's ship?

Re: Sketch of the Day
I find it funny we still reference the planet of the apes to this date. Specially considering most of us are significantly younger than the movie. (I for one have never seen the original)
It is like those thing that should not have been that culturally significant but stuck anyways. Well on the other hand despite not aging that gracefully i think it was a rather high profile mainstream movie not some niche nerd drama. After all Charles Heston was a A level star back then.

I don't know whether I'm laughing genuinely in amusement or ironically in concern, considering the implications regarding this modern AU.
It's almost as if Mekkan is a post-apocalyptic phoenix world (rising from the ashes of our current civilization's collapse) and this displays what became of our current major landmarks.
(Half-sarcasm here) Nah, that's ridiculous.

Maeve is so cute, they're thinking of renaming the Pokémon Ability known as Cute Charm, so it becomes "Maeve Charm."

Re: Sketch of the Day
It is a reference to the Planet of the apes Original movie (1968) so i doubt is any conscious decision at world building and more likely just a jokeIHeartMaeve wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 12:05 am I don't know whether I'm laughing genuinely in amusement or ironically in concern, considering the implications regarding this modern AU.

Okay, first of all, I never saw any of those movies, so I didn't get the reference. Secondly, I was simply popping jokes at what the implications would have been if it was a canon drawing.Technic[Bot] wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 12:12 amIt is a reference to the Planet of the apes Original movie (1968) so i doubt is any conscious decision at world building and more likely just a jokeIHeartMaeve wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 12:05 am I don't know whether I'm laughing genuinely in amusement or ironically in concern, considering the implications regarding this modern AU.

Fret not, for we all have a collective tendency to just not get references. Ain't that right, Technic?

That movie is older than me and Bell combined. I don't expect anyone to get it.
Do not even know how i know it myself as i never seen the movie. Just wanted to be informative, Sorry if i came out as aggressive.

Laura Enslaved AU
She's wearing a collar, so the reunion's going to be marred by her stressing over the broken crockery and the unfulfilled order to make dinner.
