So far all I've got to go on is the ever growing crowd of people saying that the film was overly serious and suffered from too many sub plots syndrome.
I have seen the film. This is an accurate description.

Yes, but how was the fight?

Spoiler!
Almost exactly like the fight in The Dark Knight Returns but with worse context before and during the fight.
In other words, I've literally seen it before and it was done better then.

"The biggest problem with this movie is that it feels like several movies crammed together into one long, uneven and disjointed mess rushed out just so we can establish the DC Cinematic Universe as quickly as possible in a desperate attempt to catch up to Marvel’s popularity."
That's the main criticism I've heard levelled at the film.

How do you get to the Rakdos Guild Hall?

Sounds about right.

A lot of what I've been hearing is that if you want good DC comic adaptations, then the live-action TV series or animated TV and movies have been leagues better than the post-Man of Steel live-action movies.

So if you go into the film thinking the best fight in any Superman movie is the epic Superman/Supergirl vs Darkseid fight at the end of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, there's nothing to change that?

I haven't actually seen Superman/Batman: Apocalypse so I can't really comment on that (Although, I am ready to believe that movie's fight was done better). But if you haven't seen
Spoiler!
The Dark Knight Rises Part 2
or read the comic, you might find something clever with the fight at best.

The Superman/Supergirl Vs Darkdeid fight is here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRsRlynQevA

That's part one of three (Part 2 is Supergirl's fight) The parts should auto run . If not, they're the sba listings on the right.

I've seen the film and this is accurate. The title Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a good summation of how the plot works; there's a decent Batman story fighting a poorly told Superman story with Justice League teases sprinkled in like an afterthought.

Well that was two and a half hours of my life that I'll never [censored] get back. I mean there was some good in it, and seeing The Trinity team up to kick something's [censored] was awesome, but...it was mostly [censored].
From the Sergals and Sergal Lovers channel of F-List's chat system (Beyond NSFW, by the way): Honey, you ain't the only abnormal sergal in here. We got three pink northerns, a fairy, and a dork with a talking sword.
