Although i am unfamiliar with fishing I am fond of 3d printers and computers (I am a programmer) so I would not be bored. Your "breaker/network" room photo was very nice and interesting!

Passionate discussions about hobbies are a good way to break monotony. By all means, go ahead and post about fishing. I haven't been in quite a few years, but I used to fish with my mother. I remember it was a lot of fun.
