And I'm probably the only one here who knows the term "fluffernutter". No shame in knowing the food of your own region.

Flutter Cutter?
*Googles*
Looks rather lovely. If a bit hypercaloric. It is a shame it is rather hard to find marsh fluff out here.

I expected that the Americans wouldn't know Speculoos, but according to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cookie_butter they do.
Quit stealing the good things! (I have never heard of that 'fluffernutter', or even marsh fluff, and I think it's better for our public health to keep it that way)

If it moves but shouldn't: Duct tape. If it doesn't move but should: WD-40. With a hammer everything fits, and if it still doesn't fit: bigger hammer. If it can't be fixed with a hammer it's an electrical problem.

Fluff is awesome. I don't know what you're talking about.

Re: Last Man Posting
It does seem rather tasty however it is clearly not the type of thing you should eat often
As i mentioned before it is rather hard to find here. I can find it on high end supermarkets and seemingly only imported from usa. Seems like the kind of stuff that only has real demand in the land of star and stripes.

Re: Last Man Posting
Yeah, makes sense. It's basically just jelled marshmallows and sugar.

I think normal marshmallow is simply gelatin and sugar. Wonder how they turn it into a spread ?

When I was a kid, I had a theory. You take bread, peanut butter, and fluff. Then make sandwich, and eat it.
It simplifies things.
Come to think of it, that was probably the most fun I ever had at college.
It doesn't matter how they did it. They did, and now it's a thing. Might as well enjoy it.

Ok so i am the kinda of guy who is not happy unitl all stones are answered and all stones are turned who is not happy with only knowing the what, but also the how and why so did some googling. (Sometimes i wonder if i could have considered a career food scientist/ food engineer)
Marshmallow fluff is technically an italian meringue were you stabilize egg whites with caramel and cream of tartar.
I even found these recipes From some love irish lass and from Mr Adam
Please do no try it at home, it involves mixing boiling hot caramel into egg whites at high speeds and is very dangerous! I am not liable if you burn yourself with candy ok?

It is also called the napalm of the kitchen.
It's hot (duh), and when it solidifies it releases some extra heat (basic chemistry, the energy to melt it is released again). And when it is solidified on your bare flesh it's hard to remove.

Half the fun of making candy is the caramel burns!

Wait no that is not true...

Re: Last Man Posting
There is a reason why i won't try to make fluff. I value my skin too much to risk that kind of burning.
And since college was mentioned. The most fun o ha in college was making the projects with my friends

Re: Last Man Posting
That was by far the most fun I had in a class, but most of my classes were just basic stuff. I already had the mindset of how to design things. which put me ahead in my engineering classes but behind in everything else.
But even while programming the laser cutter to carve acrylic supports for the catapult was secondary to making Ritz fluffernutters at 11:00 at night.
