Honestly, the PC is the best for gaming, and I would pick it over a console any day.

It has a much wider range of games available for it, and you can do non-gaming stuff with it also.

pretty much what I would say, except PC, I need a FAR better graphics card (On World o' warcraft I have to turn eveything to low and it only runs at 20fps, my freind has everything at the highest it will go and he runs at the highest possible fps of 60 ALL THE TIME!!)

I do agree on the casual part (no flames) but I don't see it as a serious competitor based on software, and lets face it, it isn't cheap.
However i will admit that free internets is all good by me

Uh, yea. If you have an older/low-end video card, you won't be able to play high-end games at a good framerate.
If you build yourself a gaming computer, expect to spend around $200 on a high-end graphics card if you want to run games at 1920X1080 with 4X aa on high settings well. I suggest a Nvidia GTX 260.

Personally I'd keep PC in a realm of it's own. I mean, it's the best for gaming, but leagues more expensive to buy and keep up with the latest games.

I pick 360 over Wii and PS3, because I simply hate the Wii control schemes, and it doesn't have halo or CoD (at least any of the good ones). PS3 is on paper the best system, but 360 has better internet (you get what you pay for) and more exclusive titles. If I was more into RPGs I'd get a 360, but I can't play my halo or my oblivion on any system but xbox (once again excluding PC).

PC - Can be upgraded when it needs to be, Lots of games to play, but is expensive
wii - Good for parties and families but most of the games are from Nintendo
PS3 - Great power in a small package, reliable, blu ray, and relativity cheap but the drives have a tendency to break. YLOD is not your friend
360 - Bigger community but you need to pay monthly for it. Heard the game selection is better but it all depends on what games you want. RROD is not your friend

I own all accept for a 360 but I'm looking for one so i can experience all of them

meh, PC's aren't that great for gaming. I'd rather have a controller than keyboard/mouse.

PC > all other gaming systems

Especially for FPS games! Much easier to aim with a mouse then it is with a controller.

I'll admit, consoles are better for third person shooters, and over-the-shoulder shooters, but that's about it. Oh, racing games too, unless of course you have a steering wheel and pedals for your computer!

I cannot compare a PC with the PS3 or X-box 360, as I only have an X-box and PS2. I don't have a Wii either, I have a Gamecube though.

I'd like to have a PS3 so I could get Metal Gear Solid 4 though.
