I'm fairly certain this is the first time we see this design, and while it could be a design used by some part of the templar it would be the first time we see two different logos used by the templar at once. Also if someone had diffrent logos it would be those working under different master templars.

Also worth pointing out that Keiren cannot see the logo.

Additionally seems to be something wrong with the neck and head of the knight, they seem weirdly thin to me.

It's the new Principality of Zeon Templar logo - they're gonna drop a colony on those pesky keidran! :P

Also, the comic doodle is hilarious - "I AM THE LAW!"

You need to be wearing big green stompy wellies to deliver that line with the proper gravitas.
Larger, fancier (and mis-matched) pauldrons would help too.

I read this as "Kick his ass, Karen!"

And my mind went full "I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER!"

The symbol's been pretty consistent throughout the comic;

Page 770, that you mentioned.
Page 3, right back at the beginning.
Page 906, which in-comic, was yesterday.
That's the symbol for whatever Trace belonged to. It's entirely conceivable that there are separate orders with different but related symbols. Maybe High Templar vs Templar Guard or something. The position of the extra line (extra compared to the big +) could indicate something like rank

It would be really silly for an imposter to get the symbol wrong, especially when they made the symbol that big. Much easier to steal a real cloak anyway. I still suspect a wolf, but the thing I'm most suspicious of with his outfit is actually the red (probably) mana gem in the chest. A Templar shouldn't need that, although it might still be useful to them so it's not a dead giveaway. Worth remembering that the templar are also bad guys so in the end it dosen't really matter

Besides the little shift between the shirt from 3 and 770, that logo has always been rather consistent between Templar individuals, including Euchre. The only major differences with the symbols now howevee is with the keidran guy at the start of the series and now this.

As he realized, Keiren legally answers to Duke of Edinmire Trace Legacy (whether still Grand Templar or not), not the templar military. I want to see this "templar" kicked through the door by this "farm boy".

If this page is anything to go by, all the guard are at least competent in magic, even if they can't blast things like Red.
I don't know about all of them but a good number of them have at least some magic use. Any without might have protective charms on them.

Euchre is also a similar rank to Trace if I'm not mistaken. They are both the absolute heads of their respective areas. To the best of my knowledge we've never seen a templar knight or any other sort of rank-and-file member. The story is absolutely pointing to a wolf, I'm just debating the individual clues.

Any word from Tom yet on which version is officially correct (earlier variants can be excused as under development by the artist) or any official variants by department?
