Hmm, well it's more the Templar than human in general that have issues with the wolves. There may be opportunities for Sythe to repair his relationship with the humans and wolves combined with other factors at play in the plot right now. Uncovering Clovis and Brahn's conspiracy, uniting forces of the characters currently in Edinmere (Teams A and B, the Edinmere guard, the Rainforest Tiger Tribe, and possibly Brutus), and Trace and Flora's marriage and other interspecies marriages down the road (Daniels and Therie, Keith and Natani, and Sythe and Maren would be good ones to help build alliances, but they're not far enough along to propose to each other) could help ease the conflict and build a solid alliance between the various races.Tornir wrote: Sat May 17, 2025 5:34 pmI think Sythe's diplomatic career is dead in the water.Eclipse wrote: Sat May 17, 2025 4:28 pmYeah, the more you play out this scenario the more I think it's not going to happen. I don't think the Taverndatter siblings are going to stay behind just yet, it's too soon in the story for that. Maybe in the end they could come back and work for Adira but not right now. Sythe being torn between Maren and his diplomatic ambitions wouldn't be fun either. I suspect Adira is actually still alive.
While he was trained as a wolf/human diplomat, the humans currently view him as an enemy combatant, and the wolves view him as a traitor and have a price on his head. He might be able to get some work liaising with the tigers on behalf of the Basitins if the story requires that, but otherwise, his only option is refuge in Lyn'Knoll.
I hope Adira is alive, but think there's a distinct possibility she isn't.![]()
