Are the transcripts done by the community?

If you go back far enough in the archive, most of the comic transcripts have a note at the bottom saying, "Page transcript provided by [name]", such as Here. Some of the older ones were done by forumites, from what I can tell, but usually it's by Tom himself. The whole deal with transcripts is relatively new, anyway.

Bellhead is mostly correct. Most of the transcripts were done by amenon and provided to me when we added the transcript feature a few years ago. Since then they've mostly been done by community members but occasionally Tom does it himself.
