Old Trace Definition
When we say Old Trace do we mean the corrupted evil Trace or the original Trace he was before Saria died?

Poster's choice, generally speaking.
New Trace is New Trace, plain and simple. But as for before that, hmm..
Personally, I use Dark Trace for his original self, as I consider the point of memory loss to be the one dividing point between two separate personalities. After all, the nice, happy-go-lucky younger Trace evolved into Dark Trace. It was quick, but not instant, and without the first, the second could not exist. As such, I see no reason to differentiate between those two.
And on that note, when I see Old Trace, I think "Pre-memory-loss Trace", regardless of pre- or post-Saria death.
New Trace is New Trace, plain and simple. But as for before that, hmm..

The distinction is important since I believe it was Dark Trace Saria addressed in the latest comic.

Personally, my headcanon is:
Old Trace > (Saria's death) > Dark Trace > (Memory loss) > New Trace.
Old Trace > (Saria's death) > Dark Trace > (Memory loss) > New Trace.
