It's time to kill some reindeer.
If it moves but shouldn't: Duct tape. If it doesn't move but should: WD-40. With a hammer everything fits, and if it still doesn't fit: bigger hammer. If it can't be fixed with a hammer it's an electrical problem.

... Isn't there a thread just for that kind of thing? Or is it too buried to use anymore?

Sorry. But to anyone else, it would have been unrelated, so I have to.

Poor, foolish mortal. He underestimated my power of talking about cars.

Considering what you do for a living. It would worry me if you stopped talking about cars.

I could bore you with sea fishing (just left the locks for a day at sea), 3d printing or computers, but I choose not to.

Well why not? We bore you with CarTalk all the time. It's only fair.

Although i am unfamiliar with fishing I am fond of 3d printers and computers (I am a programmer) so I would not be bored. Your "breaker/network" room photo was very nice and interesting!

Passionate discussions about hobbies are a good way to break monotony. By all means, go ahead and post about fishing. I haven't been in quite a few years, but I used to fish with my mother. I remember it was a lot of fun.
