The world we knew ended in 2012.

We are in the final steps before a new world begins.

Not for me, I don't believe in that nonsense.

That's was a meh movie.

The world has already ended but immediately a new world that is exactly the same as before started. So we couldn't tell.

The end of the world is something that happens every day.

if you catch the reference i owe you a cookie. Yep that was a bit unfair. It is a very very niche reference. I owe you all a cookie now. oh and here is the source i case you were wondering

Yeeeaaahhh, went over my head.

And it definitely was a bit of a meh movie, but still better than that new Terminator movie. Nothing but special effects and unnecessary profanity. Throughout, there were... like 3 plot points?

I am the kind of guy that rarely goes to the movies and I watch no tv now. There is very little stuff that seems interesting to me.

That being said I wanted to see the new terminator movie. But I do not remember why I didn't. Also I wish movie studios stopped trying to rehash everything. Only the 2 first terminator movies were good and it should have stayed like that.

I understand it is cheaper and safer to simply used stablished IPs than trying to create new ones. But it stiffles creativity a lot. Star wars, for example, was our parents definitive space opera. We did not get ours because we got the prequels instead. And our children won't get theirs either since there will get another star wars rethread.

What i am trying to say is that a lot of novel, interesting and successful ideas in media will never see the light of day as media studios are too afraid to try new stuff. So instead we only get the same thing we have been watching for more than 2 décades again

There's a slight chance.

I've been watching the stream archive on Youtube. I'm about 6 hours into the Sonic 06 playthrough, in short segments of course. Hilarious.

I might have simply missed something but:

Whose stream archive are you watching? Despite being a hot dumpster fire Sonic 2006 is not particularly obscure.

AshleyNicholsArt. I'm near the hallway point. Mostly she does cleanup animation by then, this was one of very few that wasn't Hazbin related. In later episodes, she switches to calling the streams Hunicast, and does a podcast style thing, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I had not realized that I am such a Christmas person. I had to come to the year where Christmas is to be drastically down scaled, no annual Christmas family dinner this year, For me to realize that.

... It is hard to like useless people :S

Underestimating the value of useless people is like underestimating the power of coffee on a rough morning.

EVERYTHING has a purpose. Remove it, kick back, and watch what falls apart first.

In general people have a hard time liking, or even tolerating, people that they perceive as useless or that do not benefit them. Specially if the are different. As the Rudolph song so clearly illustrates.

But you are right everything can be essential for something else, even if we do not see it. Again that is what the song is trying to say. And ultimately people do not have value because they are useful, they have inherent value because they are people.

Tangentially, I have been drinking coffee since i was 6. At this point I am very resistant to caffeine.
