My favorite bot is the one called Majestic-12, I have no idea what it does, but it just sounds so, majestic...

The question remains: what about Majestic 1 - 11? Were they just not majestic enough?

So we're being monitored by the comity that makes sure the public can't prove the existance of UFOs?
Cool.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Official Teaser

Not sure if it's too early to start a thread in the Media Board just yet.

My dad's birthday was a few days ago, and his girlfriend made a dish to make all Italian's cringe in terror... BAKED SPAGHETTI  (basically lasagna with spaghetti noodles)

Also, this amazing cake that's one layer chocolate cake, one layer brownie, and then another layer of chocolate cake on top.

In case you were wondering, they were both delicious

We're in the last few weeks of classes and my Audio Mixing Techniques class has started our final project for the semester. My professor nabbed the original multitracks from Bohemian Rhapsody that got leaked a while back, so now we're going to spend the next several classes mixing it from scratch in 5.1 Surround for the giggles.

Good times all 'round!

Things have been going pretty well lately.
I'm pretty sure I just aced my two most difficult exams, I've got a job offer for work that'll let me stay in my hometown and strike out on my own properly, and I've recently started seeing a girl. And I still have easter leftovers.

So I'm rather content right now.

My CPU temperature is currently 56°C/133°F, a bit odd. Normally it would be around 30°C/86°F (idle)

But then I remembered I bought a new cooler, and the CPU is currently at 100% load to test it.

With the old cooler and same settings it would have been 80°C/176°F, and a lot of noise.

Silence makes you forget what you have

For those who are curious: it's a way over the top Noctua NH-D15S, expensive (far too expensive, but hey, it has to work for at least 7 more years), silent and cool.
If it moves but shouldn't: Duct tape. If it doesn't move but should: WD-40. With a hammer everything fits, and if it still doesn't fit: bigger hammer. If it can't be fixed with a hammer it's an electrical problem.

Lol I recently built myself a mini-ITX PC with an 8 thread Xeon. That's some hot stuff, but the CPU cooler is limited to 65mm in height.
In order to fit the heatsink in in the first place, I had to trim off two of the fan clips as well :?

I hit 76°C today :P
Spoiler!

Anyways, classes started again today and I got to see a bunch of people who I didn't see in ages, just been a positive day on my end.
