If it rains like one or two more times like it did at the start of this month, but a little further south, we might see the end of this drought. Holy woah. Hell, the whole country is doing damn good. I remember last year the whole west coast was dark red, and the middle states were half yellow.

But please, mother nature. Keep bringing the wet sky matter upon our valleys, and the cold white stuff to our mountains.

Last night my dishwasher broke... It flooded my kitchen and I had to use literally every towel in the house to clean it up. Why is this in the smile thread? Well, when I got home today from getting groceries I found my roommates cleaning up the same mess because they didn't read the note I left on it xD. I had a laugh at them, its funny that they didn't even question all the wet towels in the tub. Other good news is its actually getting fixed now as I write this!

I've finally made my decision and am ready to let you guys know what I've been thinking about for the last couple of months.
Spoiler!
Image
I've been thinking about this for a while now and my medical work came back good. So I swear in very soon. I've been in America for 7 years now and the civilian life sucks. So I'm going to do something better for myself and my family. I'm going into the electrical field.

My ASVAB came back good.

Air Force scores:

Mechanical: 95
Mechanical: 84
Administrative:76
General:86
Quantative: 82

For you Army guys my GT was 120

I'm aiming for the Space Avionics (Satellites and space stuff) and Electrical Avionics (A-10 warthog, F-22, F-35, U2 spy planes etc).

I am both excited and unbelievably terrified. I am so scared right now but I'm confident I will do just fine while I'm in.
I just have to gain about 17 lbs when I have my job selected and I am good to go. (I weighed in at 103, 3 more from my previous 99.6)

Wish me luck guys.

Not quite. The specific part of the west coast that we spent the winter in, had its wettest winter on record. (And we went there because it was relatively dry as compared to other places near it.)

My mistake. Only California was red. Only North-west Oregon and Washington's west half were fully out of the drought, however. Still, we're doing a lot better this year.

There's a rather promising potential at more than a few jobs in my city. In particular IBM, who has an interest in Cognitive Science students like myself. For the first time in a long while I feel qualified for a job application outside of basic retail.

I get to hear all these people lose their minds because the Patriots made the largest comeback in history of the Superbowl.
Look at the records set and tied...
SUPER BOWL RECORDS SET
Super Bowl appearances by a player: 7 – Tom Brady
Super Bowl appearances by a head coach: 7 – Bill Belichick
Wins by a head coach: 5 – Bill Belichick
Wins by a starting quarterback: 5 – Tom Brady
Super Bowl MVP awards: 4 – Tom Brady
Points in a game: 20 – James White
Career passes: 309 – Tom Brady
Pass attempts in a game: 62 – Tom Brady
Career completions: 207 – Tom Brady
Completions in a game: 43 – Tom Brady
Career passing yards: 2,071 – Tom Brady
Single-game passing yards: 466 – Tom Brady
Career touchdown passes: 15 – Tom Brady
Receptions in a game: 14 – James White
Team Super Bowl appearances: 9 – New England
Largest deficit overcome by the winning team: 25 points – New England
Games taken to overtime: 1 – New England vs. Atlanta
Points by a team in overtime: 6 – New England
Team first downs in a game: 37 – New England
Total first downs in a game: 54 – New England vs. Atlanta
Team passing first downs in a game: 26 – New England
Total passing first downs in a game: 39 – New England vs. Atlanta
Offensive plays by a team in a game: 93 – New England
Passes by a team in a game: 63 – New England
Completions by a team in a game: 43 – New England
Passing yards by a team in a game: 442 – New England
Total passing yards in a game: 682 – New England vs. Atlanta

SUPER BOWL RECORDS TIED
Wins by a player: 5 – Tom Brady
Touchdowns in a game: 3 – James White
Single-game two-point conversions: 1 – James White, Danny Amendola
Sacks in a game (since 1982): 3 – Grady Jarrett
Single-game two-point conversions by a team: 2 – New England
Total two-point conversions in a game: 2 – New England vs. Atlanta
First downs by penalty in a game: 4 – New England

So while I feel for those Falcons fans, I got to what a historic event with some of the most phenomenal catches I've ever seen.

I don't even watch football so to me it was a great game (reminded me of a Toronto Maple Leaf hockey game... Winning 4-0 at the end of the 2nd period and lose in an OT Shootout... CHOKE :))

Speaking of sports...Leah Pritchett made NHRA ET history with a 3.654 second pass (331.85 MPH) at 1,000 feet in her Top Fuel Dragster during spring testing at Phoenix over the weekend (NHRA went from 1/4 mile to 1,000 feet for pro nitro categories in 2008). Let's just say that Papa John's actually delivers in record time. Unfortunately, it won't be an official national record mark since it didn't take place during an NHRA sanctioned event. The 2017 season doesn't start until this coming weekend at Pomona.

I did watch the Super Bowl last night. It was a pretty good game. :)
