Re: Progress on Second Book
Xaviertrix, I would suggest looking closer at the date of the first post. It is dated just over a year ago. The first half went super fast, but it's only recent that he seems to have picked it up again.
Xenowar, why are you saying 2% more? It's only at 54/100% so far. Still quite a while to go.
I wonder when/if he'll make preorders available again. Sketches for the preorders again? =O !

Man, any progress is good progress. It means he's working on it, which is awesome. Go, Tom! Go!
After your various other projects and real life situations, obviously .

Re: Progress on Second Book
Hmmm... There hasn't been an update on the progress of the book in a while. No doubt I'll be pre-ordering this book.
Tom, you're the only person I've ever paid online for any sort of drawn medium in any form. Seriously. If you knew me personally, you would know that's no small feat. Keep up the awesome work!

Re: Progress on Second Book
Well,Tom is a bit busy,from what i understood
And imo,it's better that he doesn't rush his work,so he can work on some better quality books(i heard about some problems with the first one, although i don't own a copy,so...) and so that i can spare some money for it(atm,i've got low money, and only thinking at how much i'll have to spend for expedition here in Italy makes me faint...but this is just a personal detail

Re: Progress on Second Book
The problems with the first book weren't Tom's fault. He didn't print/glue the books.

Re: Progress on Second Book
Yeah i know, didn't write that correctly
But in any case, this waiting can benefit from that side too, allowing Tom to find some better society for that work(i heard about very late deliveries, white papers, weak pages, etc.)

So...is the second book the 2nd part of the comic or something else? I really don't know or do I have the money for the first one.

It's not really as good as I would have hoped. They got everything but the character drawings. You know, I mean, not to be insulting but I could probably draw a better Flora than what they did in their rain scene (on paper).Ace5762 wrote:GOTHCLAWZ wrote:Hey guys, here's an idea:

Like I said "(on paper)". I'm not good at animating at all. Anyway, I don't know if everyone else is getting this but it got this message:Ace5762 wrote:Well, why not try out for animation?GOTHCLAWZ wrote:It's not really as good as I would have hoped. No, that message usually means "traffic is too high," something we haven't seen in a long while since some tweaks were made to the server.
Now, please, this is not the place for this discussion, so get it out of this thread before it gets locked. This is not a topic for discussing the animated project, or whether there should be a movie, or how good you are at art, or if you're receiving error messages. This is a topic for progress on the second book. Please restrict yourselves to that topic and related topics. Thank you.
-- One note --
If you get that error message, PM me as soon as you can. Once might be a fluke. If it happens repeatedly or to more than one person, then it's a problem that we'll get dealt with.
