Oh boy - I have no pictures able to fit the avatar pixel limit. I'll have to go avatarless then .... sad face
Though I can see how it could be a problem.
There are two wolves inside each of us. Each fights ferociously for it's beliefs, the black wolf represents hate, strife and evil; the white wolf represents love, peace and kindness. The one that wins is that one that you feed the most.

You can modify the size of an image by downloading GIMP 2.0 and using the Scale Image option. Saves the quality of the image unlike MSPaint and its a free program. Kind of like a mini Photoshop.

Now, don't get me wrong - Gimp is AWESOME. I use it all the time for complex stuff(like, for example - vectorizing the logo that I used Here).
However, for simply resizing images, a much faster & simpler option is IrfanView.
Gimp is horribly slow to start, especially when you go and stick a bunch of brushes in it, so for simple resizing & conversion, IrfanView is a better bet. I have also found that IrfanView will give the tightest image for a particular type - Lowest filesize for a particular quality.

It is also a really nice program if you want to do conversion/simple batch modifications, and also I use it a lot for going through the contents of a folder - say reading comics or manga. It even has a slideshow mode, if that's what you want!

"When?" would be the first time you start it, and your pc has to load everything. If you start it multiple times per time you use your pc, the later times, almost everything is already (still) preloaded.

o.O But 3-4 seconds isn't that bad of a load time. At least it doesn't bother me any.

3-4 seconds is faster than Photoshop, so no complains there.

Yes, back on topic. Check out my new avi. It's not exactly what I wanted, but it's pretty nice nonetheless. Aaaaand it fits the standard requirements for the forum by half (I think)

*Loosk at Fastchapter's avatar* Yup, definitely half the specs. I never was one for extremely large avis.

You should use the Avatars thread in the Media Board to display updates, this thread is meant to alert members of the changed rules.

My bad, didn't pay much attention about it. I'm pretty sure my avi and sig meet the requirements.
