Guys vs Girls

#1 Post by The Rookie »

Hey, guys

So recently I've noticed that when I'm talking about other forum goers I tend to use very gender neutral terms, like "They" and "Their" a lot, simply because I can't tell whether someone is a guy or a girl based on the name.

So this got me wondering, what is the ratio of guys to girls here on the TK forums?
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Checking my cis white male privileges.

It can be hard to tell sometimes, who is what.

Something something pretty fly for a white guy. :) Honestly, I can't think of that many active forumites who are female, at least as far as I know.

Also, when I first saw the thread title, I thought this was gonna be some battle of the sexes sort of thing. :P

I think I may be the only even trans female who's active, besides Esmeralda, who I'm fairly certain is female. :P

Anyway, I don't notice too many, and it's a tad weird.

Also, yeah, the title. What, are we fighting to the death? I kid, but it did make me think this was some sort of, like is said above, battle of the sexes kinda thing. Anyway, just my 2¢.

There's also Verilidaine (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and Wynni. They've been here a lot longer than most of the people here.

Also Sage Asuka. Other ladies include Kitten, Neko-Maya, CJwolf, and a few others whom I just can't quite recall at the moment.

I'm gender-fluid, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one here. It's okay if y'all refer to me with male pronouns, though; I tend to play it fairly close to the chest.

Oh sorry, I probably should have thought about that when I was making this.

Can I add a new category without resetting people's votes ?

I think it's interesting that no biological females have voted in yet, transgender or otherwise.

I get to be first? Oh, apparently second. But first to chime in. Yes, female. Only semi-active outside a certain, less travelled nook.
