Now, I may be ignorant as I don't use phpBB forums most of the time, but meh. When you look down at the active users thing at the bottom of the page, from time to time it will have a user name with [BOT] next to it. For example, there is one right now that says Google [BOT]. Are these bots as in the bad ones, or are they something else?

EDIT: You can only view this when you are in the board index. It's under "Who's Online" and then "Registered Users". There are also another two bots listed: Ask Jeeves and Exabot.

Or people with their useragent set to the same identifier. I know I've spoofed about 15 different bots for a 'bot invasion' screenshot a while back...
