Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
First of all, thank you Tom, for making such an awesome webcomic! :D Been reading it for 3,5 years now and I just really love it! Always looking forward to the next page, so keep it up at least another 10 years :P
And as for my favorite page: http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=465 <---- Natani and Keith are my favorite characters (and couple) and since the very first signs towards their relationship I'd been looking forward to this moment. So, logically, when it finally happenened I was just so freakin' happy!!! :D This will for me always be the most memorable page, even though story-, art- and humor-wise there are a lot of other great ones :)
And once more, thanks and keep up the great work!

I have to say I like this page a lot, although it was hard to choose. This page said a lot about Keith's inability to let go of Laura after her death. Even though he was told it was an illusion he still couldn't get let her go, knowing that he would die if he couldn't.
I owe a lot to this comic as it opened my eyes to webcomics in general. After reading for the past few years I can say that I am happy I stumbled upon it when I did.

My favorit page would be this one: http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=425
Simply becuse this was the first page I saw of your comic. I had just become a fan of furries and i looked after furrie comics and that page really got me and Natani became my favorit character there immediately.

I may not be a veteran fan, but I still love it. I came in right where got the note from Madelyn. And you know what I did? Immediately went back to the beginning and speed read it. I can say one thing, Tom, and one thing only...... You got me hooked here. And this http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=47 is my favorite page. Because it delves into the relationship between Flora and Trace, as this is where it really began. Also, its funny to see Kieth up in a tree, whimpering.

I'm rather sad to say that I've only learned about TwoKinds recently (only two months ago), but in those two months, TwoKinds has easily become my favourite webcomic. It's strips like this one that really shot TwoKinds to the top of my (rather extensive) list of favourite webcomics. The way Keith is portrayed in the strip, his reaction to learning that Laura's spectre may not have been the real Laura, is heartbreaking. I was able to empathize with him, a fictional character of a vastly different race in a vastly different world. The heartbreak I felt with him was very real, a feeling no other comic has been able to replicate before or since.
Thank you, Tom, for the best reading experience I've had in years.

This one has been my favorite because it shows how Natani came to be the character that she/he is. Without that it wouldn't been half as much fun to see the interaction with keith

It has been one week since the contest began, and the winners have now been chosen! But first, thank you all for participating in this little game! Regardless of whether or not you've won anything, I hope you've enjoyed looking through everyone's favorite pages and reminiscing about the past ten years of Twokinds. Since there were so many participants, I decided to expand the prize pool from 3 to 10 - one winner for each year of Twokinds, plus the grand prize!
HOW THE WINNERS ARE CHOSEN:
Winners are chosen completely at random, so everyone has a fair chance. I calculated the number of posts on this thread (minus the two I've made) and then run it through a random number generator a few times. That number then correlates with your post number. I have included below the pages picked, so you can check them out for yourself!
WINNERS:
Grand Prize Winner: MUDPUNISHER
Prize: Custom sketch of favorite character
Secondary Winners:MUDPUNISHER wrote:I can't say it's my legitimate "faveorite", but it is the one that means the most to me, my entry'd have to be the very first page, not only is it the introduction that led me into a great comic, it's what made me a furry, a gateway to meeting new friends, a new place on the web to hang out, and in all honesty, a new era in my life. It got me to open up a little and forgive a few people under the thought "If trace could I can." So really, thank you Tom, you AND mark have entertained me over the past year and have cheered me up with whAt you two do whenever I needed it. So, thank you.

Congratulations to those who were chosen by the random number generator!
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE:
I will be sending PMs to the winners soon to request information. Prizes will be delivered after I return from NekoCon on Nov. 4th.
For the rest of you, I still enjoyed going through your choices, and had a lot of fun reading all of your comments. Thank you for taking the time to contribute! You've all really helped to make this anniversary event something special. If you haven't already, take some time to go through everyone's picks and see for yourself what others considered the best. And also, of course, feel free to comment with your own favorite if you feel like it. There may not be a prize, but I'm certainly happy to hear what you have to say!

Gratz, Mud!
And congratulations to all our second prize winners as well. The RNG made some good choices from what I've read of the thread so far.

Fear is not "evil". It is to know your own weakness. If you know your weakness, people can become strong as well as gentle.
