Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
Yesterday I had decided to read the comic again to reminisce in the days I used to stay up all night literality, just to post on here on talk to everyone. Then today I see it is the 10th anniversary I figured now is a good as time as any to come back.

I found it hard to choose one because well the story is full of awesome moments like Trace and Flora's first kiss in the lake,Flora trying to get trace to smite the innkeeper and not forgetting the Basitin in a tree. I’m going to say this would have to be my favourite page though as it was the current new page when I first found the comic. After the second day of coming home and hurrying to my computer to read the comic caught up to this page and that’s when I began counting down to the next one and I still haven’t stopped and I don’t plan to anytime soon. The story is never dull there is always a cliff-hanger around the corner.
So what I want to say is Thank you Tom for Ten years of storytelling I look forward to the future.

i think my favorite page is this http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=740 or if that's taken than the latest page this http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=764 and if thats taken then i don't know i just love this comic. the reason why these stand out is because i just love how moments like these that show that even when they don't outright say it they all care about each other. it really makes me smile and i thank tom for making such an amazing world for us to see.
so my entry is page 740 or if that is taken 764 as backup

Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
The basitin saga is my favorite story arc. Alaric and Laura are my favorite characters! (and now they're both dead. Both in the same arc, !!!!! why!?)
Aaaanyways, one of my favorite parts was between Keith and Alaric, when they were fighting on the bridge, I'm going to have to go with this page because the dialogue between these two is beautiful.: http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=498
Nonono wait wait! best page award goes to... http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=68
So count that page in the contest, Page 68, sorry if I made it confusing! '^__^ The best part is Tom self-inserted himself in there. LOL, Tom should do more of those.

Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
I can't pick a single overall favorite...some are technically superb, others are especially funny, and some have great drama and design.
This is the one I thought was among the funniest. I like Red, and his meltdown and horror-fantasy as himself as a fox-keidran was hilarious.

I have to thank you, Tom, for all the beutiful time reading your comic
Every day, when I knew, that a new page came out, made it easier to get over my working day^^
Since May 5, 2008 I read it about 4 or 5 times^^ to find a favorite page wasn't quite easy, but http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=594 and http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=595 were my most emotional pages, I had tears in my eyes, as I saw Keith's reaction about Lauras death... still getting shivers, when i thought about it...
So, I see with excitement into the next years^^

Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
Hi there! You may notice that I don't have an avatar, but that's because I just created this account. I made it because I was so excited when I saw you were doing this contest, that I had to enter. I actually just started reading Two-kinds not too long ago, but I still feel like when I read through all your comics, I went on a journey through the past 10 years of your life. Seeing the details of the drawings become more intricate, and even the story itself, I get so excited every time I see that you updated! I can't really say that Two-kinds has changed my life, but I am very grateful to you for allowing all these people into the greatness that is your mind and imagination. So long as Two-kinds is around, I will always love it. But enough of this sappyness, you're probably wondering what my favorite comic is! This was really hard for me to pick, and I even went through the whole comic again to find my favorite. Now, Keith is my favorite character, so I was obviously going to pick one with him in it. Also, although I didn't like her at all at first, I've come to really like Natini as well. She's actually my second favorite character. This being said, my heart skips a beat when you do a comic about their relationship, or just one when they are both in it. Even narrowing down my favorite comic to one with these 2 in it, it was still extremely hard for me to pick. Now, I could have easily chosen the one where they kiss, or where Keith finds out Natini is a girl, or even just a cute funny one when Flora thinks Keith is gay. But, I decided to choose a serious one. I chose it because it shows just how much Keith cares, for everyone. He could have been happy on his homeland, but he just couldn't bring himself to kill Natini. He even went so far as to try to kill himself, so that he could protect his friends. This one really tears at my heart, and that is why I chose it as my favorite comic. Also, Keith is really cute when he cries =3

Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
This is probably my favourite page, for the sole reason that it developed Keith's character more than any other scene had.
Finally, Keith had found his loved one, who he'd assumed lost or dead, and then she slipped from his grasp, dying in his very arms.
This page for me, was symbolic of his letting go of the past. Up until then, he'd been very reluctant, clinging to what was left of his homeland. But now, everyone he knew or loved from his old life was gone, and he had no choice but to let go.
Now, this didn't happen, and he held on to his emotions and his old life until just yesterday, but the symbolism is still there, as foreshadowing. (I'm probably reading too much into this but whatever.)
I also love this page not only for its situation, but also for its realism, its emotion, and its stunning art. In addition, it was released about when I began to read Twokinds, and it dragged me in right away.
Happy 10th birthday, Twokinds, and may you have many more.

Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
my favorite one was after the battle in chapter 6 part 2 when trace and flora in bed. http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=189 I really love twokinds its really awesome and addicting to read I've been reffering the comic to all my friends. I'm really surprised at how far the comic came from the first page. My favorite character is flora, and trace. I really hope you never stop making the comic cause I love it so much I never want it to end.
Sincerely

This was by far my favorite piece of art from the archives. The day this page came out, in my Marine Biology class we were watching Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. I remember the movie having an impact on my feelings that day and this page just amplified those feelings. It left me thinking about that page and what could be coming in the comic for days afterwards.
Every time I see the beginnings of a new page on the site, I feel a sense of excitement that makes me want to squeal and jump up and down. Then every time the page ends, I feel a sense of sadness and anticipation for the next one. Thank you for everything you have created, because it adds a bit more excitement to my life.

I like this page because of the Heart shaped fur pattern comment. Also the Gender Bending of Mike was my favorite part of the story in general. He's just too easy to mess with.

Re: Twokinds 10th Anniversary Contest
Well...it's been a long time since I've last read the whole comic, and thus remember little about the content of any particular page.
What did come up however, for some reason, is this page. The first one that i remember and frankly I wonder why.
http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=69
Looking at it again reminds me about why i am listing it, the previous pages were funny to say the least, but this page had me laughing for more than 5 minutes. even looking at it again still makes me laugh.
but there is also this one:
http://twokinds.keenspot.com/archive.php?p=499
Watching a friend/loved one, etc. die has to be hard on a person. Having watched dear pets die right in front of me due to illness and watching my grandfather slowly deteriorate due to Alzheimer's over 8 years, it leaves a strong memory. I can only imagine what it would be like to watch someone close to you die right in front of you, even more so in the comic's circumstances. Question is, is it better to watch the person fall to their death, at least from afar, or simply watch the person fall and never know how they ended up? Personally, i would want a concrete answer rather than stay have the memory end with my imagination running wild about the condition of the person's body.
I do not know why i went to type all this. At least, maybe, it gives people something to think about.
Can you guess what i was doing while typing this? It's not that hard, you've already read it.
