The only lyrics I remember are the ones stuck in my head.
"Take me aw~ay/ I'm not per~fect person/Take me away...[etc]"

I seriously doubt that this is right, but could it possibly be Hoobastank - The Reason?Windwaker wrote:The only lyrics I remember are the ones stuck in my head.

If you happen to have access to some portion of the song in question, I have found that this works to some extent:
1. record the piece you have using Audacity(free program)[if its already in its own file, skip this]
2. Open WinAmp and drag it into the playlist.
3. Right-click on the file > view file info.
4. on the Basic Info tab, click the Auto-Tag button. Winamp will now attempt to connect to the internet and use its Gracenote powered search thingy to look it up for you.
It should tag the file with -something-, though there is a fair chance this isn't right. Once you have that info though, you can google up a Youtube copy, and you might get lucky.
It doesn't seem to do well at instrumental clips though, but for vocal ones it seems to be OK.
Now, if it -doesn't- find it correctly, you can take the audio file, upload it and post it here. It can't hurt.

Stuff I am looking for information about(I have copies of these, but no clue about title/artist/album info):
1. Dublin Delight.mp3 - Vocal track, appears to be in English.
2. battle.mp3 - Game music?
3. 3999e0fea56e0a88d79da926e3e9beb8.mp3 - Sounds like movie/game music.
4. The song at 5:04-end in This video. I know that this one is a remix of "Portal - Still Alive".

1. *Fixed* Dublin delight for a commondore game called "Artura". Apparently a remix by OverClockedRemix.
2. EMPIRE EARTH! War/Strategy game. Main theme. (Recognized it from the very first seconds. Gave me the chills)
3. I suspect it's "Carmina Burana: O Fortuna". There's a remix out of it, too.
(Oh, and you had a typo in #2's link ;3)
I got to same results with windwaker, but it's a shot in the dark
