Re: Your favorite movie?
It's actually the Lion King. I've absolutely adored this movie ever since I was a child and I still haven't stopped and probably never will stop loving it. I love both the first and the second one. The third one was okay, but nothing overwhelming.
I am not really part of the Lion King fandom, though. I'm just really fond of the Lion King, but I'm not really a "fan" of it. Nevertheless, it will always have a special place in my heart.
A close second favorite movie, though, is the Matrix. Less emotional, but still all-around awesome. I also love the whole philosophical aspect behind it. Are we in the real world or do we just think we are? Anyway, it's just very well made.
There are lots of other movies I love, but these two are the absolute top favorites of mine.

My favorite would have to be the matrix. Action, sometimes humorous, and it makes you think.
Second favorite would be the princess bride. it is just too funny.

I linked to a bunch of princess bride quotes. actually putting the pictures in would have taken up too much space, and i didnt want to do that.

I saw this movie on the tv a few days ago, it was called Amadeus. I wasn't really interested in it at first but as I watched it and discovered that it was about Mozart I decided to watch the whole thing. It was a great movie, defiantly made the top of my list.
Re: Your favorite movie?
1. Hunt for Red October
2. History of the World, Part 1 (because Mel Brooks The Inquisition, darnit! )
3. Anything Monty Python ("Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!")
4. Down Parascope
Aaand that's about it. Star Wars can rot in hell for their horrid ship designs.

Re: Your favorite movie?
In no particular order.
The Princess bride? (Comedy)
The Bourne legacy. (Eh, kung-fu agent stuff, more realistic than James Bond.)
Some Star Trek movies, sorta. (Sci-fi drama operas)
The Prestige. (For the everyday supernatural, and story)
Kung Fu Hustle. (Parody-comedy) <-- Yep. It's cool.
I'm not one to have favorites. But those ain't bad in their genres, I guess. Also, it's rare for me to find a film that's not seldom predictable, so that doesn't count much for me. There are a lot of good ones though.

Dodge-fighting emotions. Also, whenever you ask, I am thinking about you.

Jurassic Park, I have the original VHS tape. It's hidden somewhere only I know about. Heck, I even saw it in 3D last year.

Re: Your favorite movie?
Coin-toss between Blade Runner and Avatar. The former is perhaps the most beautiful film I've ever seen, which is quite an achievement considering it's dark setting. The latter I appreciated more as a sci-fi epic with an amazing setting and involving plot. I think Les Miserables also deserves a mention, for being the only musical that I really fell in love with.

Re: Your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is a tie between No Country for Old Men for being the only adaptation I've ever seen that was better than the source material, and Memento for making me question human nature, the human psyche, memories, and life in general as well as being thrillingly entertaining and at times morbidly humorous.

Favorite Movie?
:Not so easy actually:
Action: Last stand (2012)
Horror: House of 1000 corpses and Devil's rejects. I can do put in both due to they are in a series
Total WTF: Howard the duck
Family: 30 minutes or less
Overall: Django unchained

Scott Pilgrim vs the World. It is the movie I have enjoyed the most out of any movie I have seen.
