I learned earlier today that George Romero, god-king and progenitor of the Zombie genre and creator of Night of the Living Dead, the original Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and Land of the Dead has died. Surely he now occupies a seat of honor in Valhalla. We'll miss ya, you demented genius.
He will be remembered by many.
