My dot is placed exactly in the middle between authoritarian and libertarian, to the right just by one square.

Probably because i'm pretty clueless about politic stuffs

Pretty much right where I expected to wind up. I'm a firm believer in "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs". I have the ability to work, but have been repeatedly and frequently denied the opportunity. Consequently, I've been on food stamps for over five years. I hate my lot in life, I do what little I can to change it...Where's my Equal Opportunity, dammit?

About where I thought I'd be, albeit a little more balanced than I thought.

Though, of course, a lot of those questions made me wonder just how lib-right KK would have been.

This is basically exactly where I would put myself, since I describe myself as a liberal libertarian. I'm surprised I was more extreme than most, it seems, but I guess there are some things that I feel very strongly about.

I guess a lot of us actually do have similar viewpoints, then.

There were a few questions I had to pause and think about a bit, but I think this is a good representation of my beliefs in this matter. Also, it seems as if I'm the most neutral of everyone so far. Take that for what you will...

Ideology wise, I've always seen myself as being at the very leftmost point of social democracy, leaning heavily towards socialism but not going full "seize the means of production", at least not all in one fell swoop. I'm more of a reformist than a revolutionary.

Read the definitions in the OP.

Authoritarian: favoring or enforcing strict obedience to authority, especially that of the government
Libertarian: favoring minimal governmental-intervention in the lives of citizens
Right: A political position opposing social democracy and social equality
Left: A political position advocating for social equality, often in opposition to social hierarchy

Ergo:
Authoritarian = "The government should have a leash on it's citizens"
Libertarian = "The people should be free to do what they please"
Right = "Not all people, because of some form of personal or genetic association, deserve equal treatment"
Left = "All people, regardless of any association, deserve equal treatment"

I did, but i thought that was just the basics, there was probably more detail to research Online,,,i thought,

I just turned the voting age in Scotland, this is the first year i get to vote.

I try not to get into the political stuff here, but I thought this'd be fun, so here are my results*:

So pretty much right smack in the middle. Not exactly where I'd thought I'd end up, but eh, who cares. Now I'M the most neutral. heh.

*results may be skewed due to not having a desirable answer or not fully understanding the question

Yeah, there were some questions on there where I wish I had a 'Neutral' or 'Neither Agree nor Disagree' choice.

Fair enough, sorry if I was pushy.

There is some better research, but since politics is a fickle business and because depending on where you are depends on what exactly is "right" vs "left"... Eh fair enough. :P

The OP definitions are good enough for start.

Ditto, but then knowing me I would have just picked Neutral for like 1/3 of the questions. And yeah, depending on how you interpreted the question would depend on which way you leaned.

Kind of reminds me of this "How cultured are you" or whatever it was, thing that I had to take a few semesters ago for an Engineering Ethics course. You answered honestly, and sometimes picked a Neutral answer, and then it spits out this result that could have been drastically different had you picked something slightly different. (And also everyone in the course ended up scoring drastically below the required amount. Yet, still at average level for the thousands of studies conducted across the nation. I kind of questioned what group of perfectly and purely objectionable human beings managed to develop the standard for that study...)

The further away from the dividing lines you are, the less number of questions you feel neutral about. Only makes sense. Of course, some people will be neutral on certain topics no matter what.

Some of those questions really made me think for a while, but were still interesting to answer. I did have to research a couple of the questions to understand what they were asking, though.

I agree. As much as I would like the idea of a neutral option and use it, that would defeat some of the purpose of the test. Even though it boils down a yes/no type of test, (essentially) answering comfortably with "fish" won't help determine an outcome.
