Re: RWBY, Rooster Teeth's new thing
The 10th chapter is already out.
I know that RWBY it´s an acction series, but is nice to see the team talking about serious stuff.
They are huntresses, and it´s necesary to know why.

The pun "underground criminal network" was done in Sherlock first, I think. Though that was a plan involving the London Underground by a secret group.

You can almost hear the character screaming in his head, "I should have caught that sooner."anonfox123 wrote:The pun "underground criminal network" was done in Sherlock first, I think. Though that was a plan involving the London Underground by a secret group.

It was done even earlier in Equilibrium, and probably before that.anonfox123 wrote:The pun "underground criminal network" was done in Sherlock first, I think. Though that was a plan involving the London Underground by a secret group.

From the Sergals and Sergal Lovers channel of F-List's chat system (Beyond NSFW, by the way): Honey, you ain't the only abnormal sergal in here. We got three pink northerns, a fairy, and a dork with a talking sword.

Re: RWBY, Rooster Teeth's new thing
Today on spot the influence we see some heavy themes from Attack on Titian
Grim and Titans seem to behave very similarly in that they
- Both disintegrate shortly after death
- Both don't have any interest in harming other animals, only people
- Both appear as though they don't have to eat people to survive, but do so through unclear motivations
- No one knows where they originated from
Although RT seems to have built onto it more by adding an attraction to negative emotion, an ability to learn from experience and a somewhat unclear explanation as to how grim can physically grow indefinitely

Is it just me, or does Neo practice Capioera?

As far as I know that is a very kick-heavy style, that sounds more like Mercury to me. Thoughts on the Turian lookalike?Myperson54 wrote:Is it just me, or does Neo practice Capioera?

I'll be honest, if I didn't know any better, I'd say it was a.) Cinder or b.) Rwby's mom. Neither of those, however, really make much sense. Although.... I could definitely see Cinder attacking Rowan's stuff, if she wanted to get rid of him. He's definitely a pawn to her.anonfox123 wrote:As far as I know that is a very kick-heavy style, that sounds more like Mercury to me. EDIT: Ooh, although the Ruby's mom thing isn't so bad. Ruby and Yang's genetic separation is through their different mothers after all, and Ruby's mom has an established name.
Why this lady would wear a Grimm mask and yet attack Rowan... Well, I seriously doubt the Grimm like his side any more than they do the kingdom's. Still, it's very unusual.

Does anyone else feel like this season just kind of ended without really explaining anything form this or last season ?

Re: RWBY, Rooster Teeth's new thing
Sorry to say this, but the creative director behind RWBY (as well as other animations at Roosterteeth productions), Monty Oum, passed away yesterday from a medical accident. It's a terrible shame and he will be missed dearly.

Yes, I read it in the rant/vent from Myperson.
I would be a shame if they keep the series unfinished,
but also nothing will be the same if they continue.
Monty Oum also took part in Afro samurai, one of my favourites,
like most people I suppose.

Re: RWBY, Rooster Teeth's new thing
People have pointed out to me that although RWBY was Monty's brainchild, there was a full staff of fully capable people working on and influencing it to the point that it was no longer just Monty's creation. I mean, Kerry and Miles basically wrote the entirety of season 2, if I recall correctly. Although it was started with Monty, I doubt it'll just die.Damien203 wrote:Yes, I read it in the rant/vent from Myperson.

They will have to recast Lie Ren.Myperson54 wrote:People have pointed out to me that although RWBY was Monty's brainchild, there was a full staff of fully capable people working on and influencing it to the point that it was no longer just Monty's creation. This is true, although HeckobA suggested to me that he might just be mute from now on, not that he talks much already.Schrodinger wrote:They will have to recast Lie Ren.Myperson54 wrote:People have pointed out to me that although RWBY was Monty's brainchild, there was a full staff of fully capable people working on and influencing it to the point that it was no longer just Monty's creation.
