A Game of Thrones
So, HBO played the first season of A Game of Thrones this past night. I watched it. HOLY [censored] THIS SHOW IS AWESOME! Season 2 got greenlit based on the raw awesome and viewership of the first episode alone, and I can see why. I'm now eagerly looking forward to April first. Game of Thrones season two begins, baby, and this time we add three dragons to the anyone can die cocktail of pure televised bliss. I haven't had the distinct pleasure of reading the books that've come out so far, but I intend to. Assuming my pissant county libraries have them.

I can't wait for season 2. I watched all videos about s2 ( trailers, making of game of thrones ) It will be awesome. I'm also reading the book series which is brilliant. It's very exciting and there are a lot of twists in the story. Now I'm reading the 4th book "A feast for crows". The translated version of 5th book will be released in april so it will be a cool month

Bought the DVD set of season 1 and it is indeed awesome! I just wish I had a good way to actually watch the episodes of season 2 sense I dont have HBO and even if I did, I work on Sunday nights when it usually airs.

With the first season it took 6 months to get it on the Finnish tv, so I'm not expecting it to be any better this time.... (Or I could watch it online?)Insomniac wrote:It starts tomorrow, goofball.

Re: A Game of Thrones
Ah. My bad. Unfortunate that. Hm...kinda like how Lost Girl on the SciFi (I refuse to call it Syfy) is from 2010, but the episodes that air here in the US are new. I suppose it's Canadian. I suppose this due to the star, Anna Silk. I swear I didn't make up that name.TuoTau wrote:With the first season it took 6 months to get it on the Finnish tv, so I'm not expecting it to be any better this time.... So this week's episode ended on a serious What the [censored] [censored] moment. Anyone else still watching this show?

Re: A Game of Thrones
I've read the first two books and as amazing as they are, HBO and the actors have really brought the story to life. Also, I just LOVE Tyrion's brilliant political maneuvering and quips.
We wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,—
This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.

I'm not surprised that I'm not the only one that loves Tyrion. He's just so awesome.2plus2makes5 wrote:I've read the first two books and as amazing as they are, HBO and the actors have really brought the story to life. Also, I just LOVE Tyrion's brilliant political maneuvering and quips.

No one can argue that Tyrion is one of the best character! Well, in my opinion.

I haven't read the books yet, so I don't know, but does Tyrion go out at all like the two previous Hands of the King? After all, this show has shown that anyone can and will diethe red soldier wrote:No one can argue that Tyrion is one of the best character! Well, in my opinion.
