Spoiler!
Okay I wholeheartedly loved this episode. Granny Smith is awesome.

My only beef is that its yet another episode with minimal or nonexistent Pinkie Pie. :c

Great to see the origins of Granny Smith. (And Ponyville, for that matter.)

One thing though...if Ponyville has been around long enough to have traditions like no-magic Winter Wrap Ups and stuff like that, it's gotta have been around for a while. And yet we know it's not as old as Granny Smith.

...how old is Granny Smith? She must be old. Like over 100. 0:
Spoiler!
My great grandpa owned a farm, worked on it, all that fun stuff. Lived to be 97 and died of cancer instead of old age. Farmers are hardy stock Soup. I wouldn't be surprised to find out Granny Smith really is over 100.

Spoiler!
Review on Family Appreciation Day.

Good to see Granny Smith's Story about ponyville and more lines from her; also some reasoning behind her madness. Not enough AP lines though, but whatever; Didn't like applebloom as much in this episode for some reason. As for the Harvest... Dear lord Jebus! Those signs are scary, flock of crows, falling stars, lightning, Evil wolves of doom... those apples are cursed I tells ya!

In addition: We have seen the founding of Equestria through Friendship, and we have seen the founding of Ponyville through Jam.... I wonder if we will ever get to see the beginning of Celestia and Luna, or if we will ever see more alicorns.
The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

Spoiler!
I wasn't loving this episode until the ending when Granny Smith started to tell the story... Then I just fell in love with it.
And I laughed so hard that my sides hurt at the Epic Pie time.

I gave it a shot, I really did. When I heard about the Brony craze for the first time I was like "This is weird... but I'm a pretty open minded guy, I guess I'll check it out." So I watched the first episode, still didn't understand, and forgot about it. The other day I was thinking about it again, and I told myself "Well, I've heard so much about this. If this many people are going crazy for it, maybe I need to give it another shot." So I watched the first two episodes in a row... and quite frankly I still don't get it :| . I guess I was never destined to be a member of the herd. You guys keep doing those Brony things you do though, because even as someone who doesn't watch the show I find a lot of the jokes to be hilarious.

You watched the first two Episodes, which are Widely regarded to be the least good, and then you give up? Watch a series or two. THEN, if you still don't like it, we can part on good terms

From that video I found the one done by her husband, the man who provides the voice for TF2's Sniper. Thank you, I have a new found urge to play more TF2.
