Far Cry Primal
From the Sergals and Sergal Lovers channel of F-List's chat system (Beyond NSFW, by the way): Honey, you ain't the only abnormal sergal in here. We got three pink northerns, a fairy, and a dork with a talking sword.

I thought it was pretty strange when I first heard about it. Ubisoft's really changing up the series, and I'm not sure if I like it just yet. I mean, a FC game without guns (or at least, the English language)? It all seems like an April Fools Day joke to me.

Yeah, I thought it seemed like a joke too, and not a great one. But if they manage to do it well, it could be pretty great. I just wonder what kind of story it's gonna have.

At least that was more apparent . (Watch them all speak in Cavemen for the entirety of the game). The Rookie wrote:Remember Blood Dragon?TheWMM wrote:It all seems like an April Fools Day joke to me.

Blood Dragon was 80's kitch. A quick and fun project using the Far Cry 3 assets with a neon filter. Half the fun was picking out the metahumor and laughing at the over-the-top cyber nonsense.TheWMM wrote:At least that was more apparent . God, I hope not. It'd be fine if it was just idol chatter you'd hear when you walk around base camp or stalking an enemy tribe; definitely not through the whole game though.TheWMM wrote:Watch them all speak in Cavemen for the entirety of the game.

Re: Far Cry Primal
It wasn't a bad game by any means; I wasn't trying to make it sound like that (oops). It's just that it was an intentional comedic experience reminiscent of the Saints Row series. FCP currently sounds a little laughable as it takes itself seriously, but nonetheless intriguing.Schrodinger wrote:Blood Dragon was 80's kitch.
