Does anyone here play RUSE (xbox) or Shogun 2?
I've been looking for people to play those with, all my friends are to easy to destroy.

In many ways, the diplomacy was changed, now you can tell how angry people will be at you if you attempt to buy their children. they removed cheats, there is a Co-op campaign, multiplier has player avatars, there is an encyclopedia (in game), the campaign map is 3D and rotates for a better view, naval battles are now controllable! and many more tiny differences.bubbasmack wrote:oh ya >:) loove the total war games dude. we dont have shogun 2 yet, were getting it soon though. I salute you! I loved that game, and if it weren't for the exam period coming up in a few weeks soon, I would totally replay ALL games one after another! But until exams are finished, the soundtrack of the game will still reminds me of the Old Camp and the Island of Khorinis!Felix Mage wrote:Well, this will be long:

Re: Favorite Games/Genre
So, genres that I like and a couple of games I like in particular
I like RTS
- Dota 2 (not exactly sure if it's a RTS but it plays like one so...)
- Starcraft 2 (+ expansion)
I like FPS (or third-person...)
- Mass Effect (1-3)
- Mechwarrior Online (currently open beta, free to play - check it out and we can play together)
- Unreal Tournament 3 (only ever play at lans, but this is by far my favourite multiplayer)
I like turn-based strategy
- Heroes of Might & Magic V (and also, ... - Dark Messiah (a fps game) is preeetty epic and links with the story)
- Endless Space
I like RPG
- Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (I & II)
- Dragon Age: Origins
I like adventure/action-adventure (whatever)
- Darksiders (like a 3D zelda in a badass heaven vs hell setting. Darksiders 2 was a bit of a letdown though)
- Dust: An Elysian Tail (goes here ^ or here v or somewhere)
I like many indie games
- Bastion was amazing
- Braid was amazing
- Aquaria was amazing (and I think might be of particular interest to some forum members)
Games like these are often overlooked, and while not necessarily the most amazing in terms of graphics or whatever else, they are FUN and not too much of a commitment (usually small so easy to download, fast to play, no problem if you don't really like it - then you just leave it).
I like Minecraft... servers. Just the default game gets boring unless you can show off your awesome constructions or play together with friends on non-standard setups.
I do NOT like sport games. Why play sports on a computer if you can actually... PLAY sports. (To clarify, does not include racing games)
So, quite a list - and not even all of the games I want to add (Skyrim!) (Half-Life 2!) but hey when you spend almost all your free time playing games... you're gonna like a lot of stuff. It did get kinda larger than I wanted but it's hard to really say what my "favourite" is. All these games I played and enjoyed a LOT at the time and none of them have been played only once.

Re: Favorite Games/Genre
I enjoy a variety of games, I also play everything on the xbox. However I am slowly being turned to PC gaming
Shooters are probably my most played (both first and third person):
Mass Effect Trilogy
CoD
Halo (except Halo Wars, I suck at RTS's)
Battlefield
Really enjoy RPG's:
Elder Scrolls Games (personally feel that KoA has better gameplay for melee characters, so all my characters are either mages or bow only characters)
Kingdoms of Amalur
Dark Souls (I've done a few No Level Up playthroughs but not an SL1)
Mass Effect (yes I put ME in two categories)
Borderlands 1 & 2
Fallout 3 (never played New Vegas)
Stealth based games are probably my favorite
Splinter Cell games
Metal Gear Solid Games
Creating Stealth based characters in RPG's ^_^
I play fighting games on occasion (haven't played soul caliber and everyone tells me I need to)
Street Fighter
Marvel vs Capcom
Tekken
I also play a couple Sports games
Any tennis and Golf games
hmmmmmmm...what am I missing...
Oh yeah I do play League of Legends sometimes as an ADC/Marksman (whichever you prefer to call them) or support. I wanna learn to play mid and top well......I am absolute crap with melee champs >_<
I have also been looking around for a good MMO to play (SAO got me interested lmao)
I also started playing magic the gathering. It was horribly complicated at first but now that I understand the game its really interesting. I really enjoy black and blue decks (control blue decks). My ideal deck would be a black and blue control and kill deck with few creatures. I have not really played the actual card game but I really want to build my black blue deck ^_^

Re: Favorite Games/Genre
It's supposed to be one of the best PS2 games of all time, and that console had a lot of good games. Right up there with SoTC and the MGS series. I want to play it, but I don't know where my PS2 is.HeckobA wrote:I have never heard of it and I don't have a Playstation of any kind, but this game looks amazing!mycatiscrazy wrote:Okami is by far my favorite game. I've gotten back into Minecraft, playing on peaceful so I can build the hard way, but also so I don't get eaten by zombies. It's relaxing. Also, I got an F3 U4 Eff3 diamond pick! Aw yissssss!
I've also gotten back to playing Star Conflict, and by god, do I ever love those scout fighters. Now, if only I could stop warping into rocks....

The recent resurgence of the mech genre has really gotten me excited.
