Lets Play Together: Icewind Dale 2

#1 Post by Keaoden, The hidden »

So Ive had this idea for a while and I hope it will turn out well for me as well as my watchers.
I've loaded up Icewind Dale 2 a rather old game from 2002 and its one of few Dungeons and Dragons games that is rather well done.
The idea I have is this, the game allows you to make up several characters that will be the party for the game.
There are a total of six slots, one is going to be my character, another is going to by a friends.

Now, that leaves a total of four open slots that could be used for other characters.
I ask my fellow forumites, come up with a character idea that would work for a game of D&D and I will
put the first 4 that I like into the game, from there on you can watch as mine and your characters adventure through the
game.

So come and pitch me your characters and we will see what kind of party we end up with!

Man, I wish I knew more about ID2 in particular, but I do know D&D at least.

Make a halfling monk. Don't let him wear any clothes. Name him "El ratón." If possible, give him a luchador mask.
VERY, GOOD

Those do sound pretty cool, though I would hope more people would take a try at suggesting a character.

Well, I'll give it a shot. Though my lack of knowing the character creator may negate a few things.

Name: John Long John. A very tall 52 year old human who is not unfamiliar to adventuring but gave it up after stumbling upon a nice village and started up a life of farming. He married and had kids who grew up to have kids. Some bandits showed up one day and he managed to drive them away. They took their loss poorly and poisoned the well on his farm, killing his family and the crops. He now travels again, searching for the bandits to exact his vengeance upon and dishing out ruthless justice against those unfortunate enough to step in his way. He knows his time is short so he must hurry in his quest.

I have another concept, if your still taking.
Name: The Pleasant Peasant
Age: 22-ish years
Race: Half-Elf
History: A Half-Elf born to a prestigious family of Lords (or something of equivalent well known upper-class) under a political marriage. He is very outgoing and friendly towards everyone he meets. His parents didn't approve of his mingling with commoners and disowned him. He is not bothered by his change in status and holds no ill-will towards his family. He stayed in the city, quickly earning the name "The Pleasant Peasant" for his continued friendliness and eagerness to work for the food and board of the people he befriended.
One Day, while helping out at a tavern, he struck a conversation with an adventurer. They talked about all the different kinds of people he had met on his travels. Inspired by their conversation, The Pleasant Peasant put together some gear and supplies, said his goodbyes, and left the city to start his journey to meet new people.
