Considering Ubisoft's track record with PC versions of their games, this is not good news.

(I think GTA V, console exclusive, is going to PC as well. But that's for another topic altogether).
Generally, PC ports aren't optimized well anyway (GTA IV, Dark Souls & whatnot...)
And yes, Ubisoft has definitely been terrible with their ports to begin with...

I don't really efing care about the port... that is the LEAST thing I care about an Abstergo Entertainment Ubisoft game, not to mention an AC one!

The progression of the series is quite amazing. We're out to..what?..the 8th game so far? With each game, the storyline become deeper and more refined.
