Animal Crossing: New Leaf

#1 Post by Ironworks »

Felt this game needed a thread.
I for one have been looking forward to this game for a while now, and so satisfied with having picked it up today. The game feels so polished in many ways compared to the previous, but still holds that simplistic-awesome that all of the previous installments had.

Anyone else pick this game up yet?
And please tell me your town doesn't have oranges!

Got the game a few days ago but haven't been able to play early enough to catch the shops open.

I guess not many other people have it given the state of the thread...

That's definitely what it's looking like haha.

I've got native Oranges here btw, and by the end of this week I'll have every fruit growing, aside from Persimmons.

FC is 0001-3314-5153
Anyone is welcome to add me, though I won't be on until next week.
I'll add any FCs added on this thread when I'm back.

Don't forget to bring your DS to your local Best Buy to get your free raccoon clock!

I don't actually play myself, but I know someone who does, so I've picked up this stuff from exposure XD

Well, that's what I get for commenting on a game I know nothing about - my supposedly well-informed source made it sound like a big deal too XD

Been playing the [censored] out of it. Found out a couple dudes in my bn have it, too, and we ended up whipping out our DS's during breaks from CLS class the last few days to visit each others' towns and steal fruit.

I'd post my friend code, but I get an error any time I try to visit or be visited over wi-fi. Probably because my ISP's a sack of [censored].

Catch me on steam tomorrow, Gumby.

Also I figured out you can find a lot of the new fruits on tours. Just ignore the minigame for a minute and shake a tree, run away with the fruits. I managed to find Durians, Mangos, and Coconuts today.

Just missing peaches and persimmons, and then I will chop down every single tree in my town and rebuild the fruit empire I had in Wild World :U

Alright, I'm actually reviving this thread as I've been playing the ever loving [censored] out of this game. Again. Still.

Granted I went on a bit of a hiatus, left my neighbors to fend for themselves for a good few months, and had Freya leave me only to crush my soul...
But I'm still playing this game. And I still find it fun.

Recently went through my town and put paths along everything. My town looks so boss.
Tried making my own paths, but this person's paths were just too damn professional for me to not use. They've actually got a few if you guys wanna check em out buried somewhere in those pages of posts.

Also been knocking out a lot of objectives of mine here and there.
Got a Mannequin today (finally), got the Golden Axe today (finally), and I'm only missing one fossil in my Museum collection.
And with said Golden Axe I've put Perfect Oranges everywhere in my town. Time to start hoarding.

Anyone else still play (probably not)?

Anyone else want to start playing again? ;)

(probably not)
