Cube 2: Sauerbraten - (Full)Free FPS game!

Has anyone heard of Sauerbraten?
Its a Free, open-source, cross-platform FPS.
It has some single-player campaigns, and a decent multiplayer setup.

I like it because it runs -damn- nice on my Linux box(I can get 300+FPS at times at 1920X1080, all settings on max, and 4x AA!)
The graphics are nice, and it feels responsive and fun.

What do you guys think?

I've already play with this game on my ipod that's fun a little like metrid (for the weapons) but the desing is neat and the maps are really funny

Looked at the screens...don't know why but some images remind me of shareware quake 1 chapter 1 levels

I think it was originally based on the Quake engine; possibly a FOSS clone/re-envisioning.

Yeah some piece are based on that but the game creator had modifed a lot of small thing like the bullet effect or the gravity

Anyway i downloaded the first one first....want to try it out a bit(and the second is 400 MB download,not at the moment )

It's okay, but it doesn't stand up to Quake Live.

I remember Sauerbraten. I also remember I suck at it. ^^;
