One of my roommates is overly ecstatic about Black Ops. He's getting it sent here release-date delivery, so with any luck, I'll be able to try it out on the days he's got homework.

7 days :o

The problem with games that have customization is that I spend waaaaay too much time customizing. I'll waste a lot of time trying to mess with everything, I know it.

Though I thought the clan tag on the gun thing was pretty cool.

Hahaha, Win XD

Personally, I'm looking forward to this game.
Though I don't even pick up many videogames anymore these days, this is one on my list.
MW2, thanks to Infinity Ward, was as Ezio stated, terrible (IMO at least). I felt World at War was FAR greater in terms of multiplayer, not to mention you weren't running around playing with people from 10th prestige lobbies all the freaking time.
I have high expectations for this game, as well as for Treyarch.

So I found some leaked gameplay of Black Ops zombies...
Its here if anyone wants to see. Looks pretty legitimate in my eyes; its not that difficult to get an early copy, especially at this time.

Wikipedia wrote:The zombie mode of World at War will return as a four-player online and two-player split screen co-op mode in which players take the roles of John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Robert McNamara, and Fidel Castro as they fight zombies at the Pentagon.
That. Sounds. Immense.

Any thoughts on this from you guys?

I never played WaW's zombie mode...
Shall be a new experience for me, but I don't know what exactly goes on. Couldn't tell based off of what I saw in that video. Is it just a survival-style game, or do you actually have to advance forward?

It becomes a "see how long you can last" type of game.
With each round it becomes progressively harder. More zombies, faster zombies, zombies tend to take more shots, etc. Most people measure their skill not on points, but how many rounds one survives.
Basically, you kill zombies, over and over for hours, and see how long it takes for you to die. Because that is inevitable.
It's awesome :)

CoD 4 was a great game. MW2 wasn't THAT successful - I never played other CoDs, but I can see that it's getting worse...
Well, I hope that Black Ops won't be boring...

In MW1 the most epic moment was the nuke explosion. In MW2... Lets say, when Shepherd betrayed his country and fried Ghost&Roach. I hope that in Blackops there will be much more stuff like that, not only one per whole campaign. Coz I suck at FPSs, I never play Multiplayer mode :)

You guys hear about what they did to sniping?
You need to be in scope for a full second (it might be three, actually) before you shoot, otherwise its the same as if you don't scope in at all.

Hell yes.
