Assassins Creed II

#1 Post by GodsNightmare21 »

Well looks like Assassins Creed II was announced. It's the cover story of the latest GameInformer magazine. Although I know very little about it because I didn't read it yet. I do know some things though. Your in Italy and you play as some guy named "Ezio".

Sooo, what do ya think.

Yeah, apparently it's another of Desmond's ancestors. They said you get to ride one of Da vinci's flying machines.
I also have a rumor that there will be a third game, and you play as Desmond in that one.

right, ac was conceived as a trilogy from the beginning, but if it's gonna to play desmond, who knows by yet...

so, 1476, renaissance italy, kill guards with drowning them, get help, weapons and his flying machine from da vinci; sounds good to me.

btw, apparently all badasses through history had a affinity for red/white combinations:

Or it could simply be the family colors.

Looks like this guy still has all of his fingers. Wasn't Altair missing one for the wrist knife?

He looks pretty awesome, but that crazy flared shirt-collar/hood combo is bizarre.

Diffrent guy. This one's completely diffrent, besides the fact he's related.

I need to finish the first one, but I've been playing all sorts of stuff and haven't had the time. I'll break it out sooner or later.

Yeah, I know it's a different character. Just struck me as odd that the knife is different, but I guess it would be a different time period.

I just wish it didn't have th sci-fi stuff in the game. Except for that, I loved the first one.

Remember, Altair lost his finger as an initiation into the assassin's guild. Despite the fact he has all his digits "Ezio" might be a part of the same guild.

He is, do you not see the symbol on his belt?

And apparently they're going to have a lot more pre-assasination missions in this game. Although the PC version of the first one wasn't so bad.

I got some new info.

It's the year 1476 in that one city in Italy with The Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, if my common knowledge is correct I believe the place is called Venice. You also travel through Florence, Tuscany, and (One you might of acctually heard of) Rome. -You can swim- WAZAAA! There are more weapons (You can wield and weapon you wish) and different enemies, including this one giant guy in tons of badass armor. There will be unexpected "special" missions, such as flying Da Vinci's flying machine. You can now assassinate enemies from hiding spots, but more intelligent foes will check these spots. There is also a night and day cycle. And there are 240 people working on the game, proving that this game will come out faster then the time it takes Valve to make a game.

I must say, I'm really looking forward to this game, as I love the first one, including the combat.

This new information just makes it better!

Well I'm just glad I could provide.

Also for anyone wondering, this game will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
