Now I wish I'd found this sooner. I have a couple stories I've written but never submitted anywhere. (As well as an idea for another story altogether about Robin Hood...)

I found it just in time. :P I tried to condense it for the sake of the judges, so I made myself stop at around 3,000 words/5 Google Doc pages/3 MS Word pages. Normally when I try to write short stories I end up with rather long stories.
With every mistake, we must surely be learning.

I found out about it just when I was considering actually getting down and writing something instead of just letting the ideas drift from thought to thought.
If the universe is infinite, does that mean that there is a version of me out there who's thinking the exact same thing?

While we're on the topic of alternate universes, is there one where I'm a lawyer? If yes, then I may be more evil than I thought.

Yeah I tried to compress mine but it still ended up 24k words, it's probably my fault they weren't able to finish by Christmas like they wanted... sorry.

Oh well. All we can do is be patient, and wait for the judges to be finished. I'm excited tho.
I have a novella that's probably going to have upwards of 80,000 words by the end of it, 16 pages ain't that much lol

Fancy. Sounds more like a short novel.

You guys make me wish I'd let myself go on another 1,000 or so words. xD

By the time I'm finished with my Samurai Jack screenplay, it will probably be close to 1,000 pages.
Oh, and "My Dad could beat up your Dad," and so on, lol.

Good morning / afternoon / evening, forum-writers, and Happy New Year!

Quick update for everyone: The holidays bogged down speed a bit on grading, but I'm happy to report that all the judges are working through grading as we speak. One is out of the country at the moment, but otherwise, progress is good.

Thank you for your continued patience!
