Having a bit of a Kat issue

I don't know how many of you do pixel art on these forums but here we go
I need a Kat sprite for my next game but am having serious trouble coloring her

Here is my original Flora sprite



And here is the Re-clolor to become Kat


Here is my reference Pic that i take colors form



And now for my problem! No matter what I do it looks like she is wearing a giant Bra.
I have changed her fur into every imaginable pattern and it just looks like she is wearing a T-shirt or Bra.
If any of you are spriters or want to give any tips Plz do Im going crazy

try to have the white fur up to half of her face, maybe that might help? and shoulders.

Well this particular one is a sort of "learning Project." So you most likely wont see it for awhile, but my other little 2kinds Rpg's are in the Games forum.
