It's called a paperchild. Basically you create a drawing that, under the right lighting and camera angles, will create an optical illusion like the paper is reacting to the 3D world around it. That's why my fingers are pushing them together. Unfortunatly I'm not much of a photographer so I messed up the illusion. I've seen some really nice ones though.

The paperchild thing is a cool effect, now that you've explained it. Going back and forth between your explanation and the picture had me cracking up. 'Tis cute. It really does add to the art, and what I really like is simply the cutting out of the image, itself. It somehow seems to give it life.

Asuka, I just got a great idea! [de] as a Keidran! You could make a picture where Nora/"Basitin Black Magic" causes Laura and [de] to trade races.
