I practiced and now I'm back.

#1 Post by Phasondragon »

I posted along time ago on this board, where I drew something and people gave me advice.
Well I took it and I think I improved.
I'd like someone to critique my new drawing so I can improve even more.
I scanned it in stages. I know the hand looks odd but... The ear's also a bit too close to his eye.
Also I'm not very good at folds and creases, anyone know any good tips for that?
Anyways here's the link: http://phasondragon.deviantart.com/art/ ... -103701931

Wow, you joined 'long time go.

And now that you're back, I have something to tell you about your art piece you submitted.

The hands, I think you're taking it TOO seriously, thusly disproving your hands. Handsrelaxed are stuck together.
The feet are too small, resulting in disproportions. One thing you can learn is Relativity with length of heads.

Go to Youtube and search up 'markcrilley' channel. He has how-tos that can help you learn hands easier and also has a tutorial on relativity/proportions.
On Christmas 2009, Closing fast on New Year's Day, Kholhaus the Great came back

But who knows for how long? Not we, the faithful. We watch and wait. For the annoying noob to go away.
