Precisely. Personally, I'd rather one thread than a dozen little ones.

So if the static was unintentional, did you find out what produced it? I'm curious. I wish it was in stereo, but apart from that gripe, it did actually turn out really well. I like the sound on the guitar, particularly how the overdriven guitar blends into the background static, so the heavy flange doesn't sound weird or out of place. Though I have to admit, it sounded like a lead in to me, and I was waiting for it to break into something harder at any moment. :P

I recorded it by placing a mic in front the amp,so it may have been feedback from the amp or computer that was causing it,or i just had a really crappy mic.

Also funny you mention it sounds like a lead in,If their was no static it would ended up as an intro to a song i am writing that sounds closer to bands like meshuggah and periphery, but it just ended up as its own little song when the static popped in.

Oh, R. Lee Ermy. I like it, though I'm looking forward to hearing the final version. I have to admit that, especially after the second FMJ clip, the guitar sounds pretty lonely. Like it needs a bass and drum to back it up.

The bass won't be to much of a problem, but the drums?
I'm using a keyboard to record the drums, normally not that difficult, except that any coordination I have disappears when i touch the damned thing.

http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h213/ ... sketch.pngI got my book today,so I drew this,when it was finished I came to a startling realization.
I am REALLY out of practice at drawing.
