*sigh* I suppose we can only wish that the opportunity for such an occurrence will happen, without someone dying along the way...
But, yeah, it looks great, Av. You must be quite happy for having got it.

Now the only question is what exquisite wine it is.avwolf wrote:Well, I expect that Natani's alcoholism will have improved her tolerance, so Keith will actually have to work a little to get her drunk.Tuna wrote:Neato!

Hey, that isn't human wine, is it?
;D
Merlot? Cabernet Sauvignon? Pinot Noir?
We may never know.

Looks great, av. I like it; a nice, romantic moment always gets me.

Av seems to be a bluff old traditionalist. I approve.
Go vertical.

Whew, it's dusty in here. Had to go all the way back to page 8 to find this thing.
Anyhow, I had a lot of car time available with my sketchbook recently and decided to do something I've been thinking about for a long time. After all that Keith's been through, I started to think that "Suffocating Right" by Neuroticfish was becoming something of an anthem for him. After the chapter opening page, that sealed it, I needed to get this out of my head. Please pardon the horrendous linework, for the sake of actually getting it posted and not having it live in my sketchbook until the end of time, I didn't do much cleaning-up of the lines, or any inking or coloring or anything, so this is pretty much just what I drew on the interstate between Missouri and Nebraska:
Linework is mine, fonts courtesy of Blambot (Sanitarium BB), characters are Tom's and the lyrics are from Neuroticfish's "Suffocating Right."

I have literally started crying after reading that. I've never heard the song, but you've still managed to make it do exactly what you intended.
Which is an admirable trait in an artist.

If you're into techno or electronic at all you ought to check it out. Neuroticfish was one of the best EBM (electronic body music) artists. That rip is from "A Greater Good," the compilation album, and is a little less melancholy with the percussion brought up than the version from the original album, "Gelb," which I tend to listen to (on account of owning Gelb, but not owning A Greater Good).RedDwarfIV wrote:I've never heard the song, but you've still managed to make it do exactly what you intended.
