Hi everyone! Haven't posted to the forums in a while, and I've never posted to the drawing board before. I've finally done something I've wanted to do for a while - redraw the first page of TwoKinds! I tried to match Tom's style as much as possible, but alas, I cannot draw backgrounds.



(Although entirely obvious, all credit goes to Tom for the original page. I also used page 958's pose for the lower-left panel.)

That's pretty nice work there, you emulate Tom's style well. I think the blurring works quite well as a "faking" tool if you say you can't do backgrounds well, not that Tom's backgrounds were particularly outstanding at the beginning either. Although you do realise this now means you have to redraw all the old comic pages right?
