I do a bunch of art sometimes, but ive been traveling lately and don't have much with me. but im kind of inspired by the two kinds art style, so i might just dump a few sketches and or random stuff here for you to enjoy, or hate, or criticize how ever you'd like, i wont take offense to feedback.

My current art setup is a sketchbook with an HB pencil and a pen lol. Then ive got an old tablet pc that has pen input, but its awkward to use, so im kind of relearning what i knew with my old setup and am constantly improving, but im a lazy artist. its still fun tho!
anyways doesn't seem like there's much active artists on this forum so allow me to try to add to the current pool of things being posted

My first skech in 10 months after re reading two kinds, it kinda inspired me to draw again

below is done in photoshop just with a mouse and its pen tool, done over the first image

this one was done on my tablet pc, start to finish, tho i got lazy with the coloring as my normal methods weren't possible at the time due to lack of software. Ive got the psd and can color it better if anyone would like

you can expect more, probably with better coloring, im still reinstalling my drawing apps. ive just been gaming lately. and working and all that life stuff that goes along with it.

altho apon further analysis, it seems i really did goof up the coloring lol, the linework looks alot better i find.

Still better than anything that could ever hope to achieve.
And I'm not even exaggerating when I say this.
In fact I'm envious.

care to share anything you have done? i used to be rather hopeless and think the same thing of most art i saw, but keep at it.

I don't have the natural skill like some people have, even to make something half decent. its never perfect but i compare to my earlier stuff and there's a huge improvement.

Thanks a lot for that friendly words but I have the problem in drawing something that should look alive.

awwh mate that's really awesome stuff! landscapes are a pain lol, but useful for backgrounds which i cant do very well, regrettably.

This is the progress made in 20 or so headshots.

I really like the middle two that you did Dodo! i cant do life like stuff like that at all. Im impressed. do you ever try to ink it after with a pen?

That's usually my process, its final so you gotta make sure its right but then you can eventually erase the pencil. Very similar if you've seen anyone doing art in a live stream, just with layers instead!. sometimes I then take a photo or scan of it and then work it again a 3rd time on the pc! but that's when you need an art tablet. or an old laptop with a pen input like mine. kinda like a cheap cintiq

i don't have a photo of the pencil layer, but i made changes as i went along too, I wasnt 100% happy with the end result but its practice! and there's a few photos just of sketches that i tried to work with but realized they sucked. I have the tools, just not the natural talent some people have!
