I cherish the thought of the planet being drowned in its own heat by a thousand years of overcast weather. It's just.. so homey. I mean, you're used to over cast when you live in Portland.

Ore-eh-gone is a state I have only heard of. Living in the southern portion of Nor Cal for 99% of my life means that the world is imaginary.

I don't believe it's a reference to something... but who knows? I found it funny because it was just there.

This isn't from Yellowstone, I just wanted to upload it. It's a picture of a puppet at one of my old jobs. It's a plastic welding company. They mainly build inflatable rafts. It's pretty much a rafting company, because that's the best way to show case their items. By testing them out in front of people and letting them try the merchandise. I occasionally go back and work with them. Most of the time I go on the rafting trips and act like a guide. This guy right here... he's the creepy puppet that is kept in the show room. Why they do this, I do not know. One might also ask why they have a picture of deer mating among their rafting pictures. I think it's just for some added personality.

That looks like one of those dolls that come to life and try to kill you in your sleep.
And I still find it ironic that you work with a rafting company.

Yes, he does look like he's at least tried to murder everyone working there, doesn't he?

My inability to swim gives us more chances to show off material. Our lifejackets work, heck, I own one from there.

This got pretty close to use at Yellowstone. I was actually given some bear spray to use on them if I needed to. Luckily that didn't happen. The bison was using a very common path that they made, and I was on it. At the time I was also carrying something rather heavy, so I couldn't move to quickly out of the way. I had to out stubborn a bison. Luckily a friend of mine took this picture with my camera.
