Anonfox's Original Images

#1 Post by anonfox123 »

I was proud enough of my most recent doodle that I decided to give it the front page of my thread!

Image

What is it, you ask? Oh, just the team Dai-Gurren logo gattai-da'd with the Delta Rune of Undertale. This in no way reflects what I am writing right now, no siree... >___> :P

Consolidating my old posts in here.
Spoiler!

Right now, all of these are just some things featured in my fanfiction, and are going to be part of a more cohesive post later.

Here, have a sniper-ish, railgun/crossbow hybrid thingy!

It's a work in progress, don't judge me too hard yet.

 You guys...

I actually didn't notice the colors matching until I posted the image. And I was trying to go for a mix of ODST armor (the shape) and the HEV suit from Half-Life 2 (the colors) Also edited the name.

I thought of the HEV suit, Iron Man didn't even enter my mind until Mud posted that link.

You cannot invent futuristic Armor with someone yelling, HEY! THAT LOOKS LIKE X!

For X, insert any of the following: WH40K, Iron Man, Halo, Crysis, or HL2.

Because seriously, you're gonna invent a suit of armor. You're going to have to fit humans inside, so it has to follow the human body, put joints at the limbs and all that sort of junk. Reinforce the Torso and add a Helmet, because getting shot in the head hurts.

And what do you have? Suddenly, you have something that's been done before. And why? Because it works best, and people in medieval times, while not technologically advanced, were NOT stupid. Now all we're doing is trying to split that tree trunk into as many branches as possible.

And guess what? Having every one of them look different will stop working eventually.

I think we should start differentiating armor by Helmet styles, because they're at least slightly customizable and you'll be looking for characters' faces a lot in the movie/game of your choice. Although, again HELMET IS ROUND AND VISOR IS ON THE FRONT.

Next time somebody shouts out THAT GAME LOOKS LIKE AN X RIPOFF I am going to say, that game you just cited totally ripped off knights in armor, they TOTALY STOLE THAT CONCEPT.

Well, the HSD Light Combat and IMPACT armour suits don't look like something that's been done before. The Armathas Research 'Science Suit' however, inspired cries of "She should have a crowbar, not an assault rifle!"

I dunno Man. If it becomes popular enough, I guess, it'll be like Rule 35 all over again.

My above post thereby corresponding to Rule 34. Except, of course, that Armor Art is less common and iterated than the other kind.

Well, this was certainly unexpected! Thanks for all the compliments and lively discussion and such, now we head onto the next set of derpy drawings I made.

For those of you who do not read the gaming board, I've been having trouble getting craftstudio to work on my mac. (mono framework not up to speed with mountain lion, methinks...) But in the mean time, I've been planning out the 3d models with auto shapes on MS word, which is thankfully easy to do, because all craftstudio models are made of blocks.

First up: A boxy anthro canine! (and a little rifle thing)
