Ok wow ticoun that looks great. The textures look very good on the design. On this program you use. Can you use shadows, because that what I think is the last thing needed to tie it all together.

Dude, Cinema 4D can basically do anything :P

There are actually shadows in the second screenshot. Soft shadows, that is, because hard, raytraced shadows would easily double the render time, which is already 50s/frame. I will only add the hard shadows at the end, when I'll be doing a network rendering using the ~50 iMacs of the art department simultaneously.

I took most of the textures from http://cgtextures.com

I see them now, the screen on a phone is so hard to look at pictures with. But keep up the good work.

Holidays mean more time for art, in that case the time spent not being able to sleep last night. Spent three hours drawing this. The spots were fun to draw. :)

So why a pic of Kat showing off her panties? Because why the [censored] not, that's why. :P

Those with a good sense of observation will notice those are the "special panties" Natani wore here and here.

I knew you'd like it :)

I'll try to push some more artwork in the next week or so, before school starts again.

It always amazes me how all of you great artists can draw such straight, clean lines.

The trick is to move the whole arm, not just the wrist. (It also helps to have had figure drawing classes in college)

ticoun's darkroom & gallery 30/1/15 [Recording test]

#1047 Post by DariusL »

So today I got my hands on a sweet little Tascam US-122mkII USB audio interface, meaning I now have a proper way of recording music with my computer. Here's a quick recording test I did. Blues Rock, loosely inspired by Jack White.
The signal path for the recording kinda looks like that:
Epiphone Les Paul Studio guitar -> Lovepedal Superlead overdrive -> Zoom G3X Multi-FX -> Blackstar HT-5RW 5W tube amp (Line output) -> Tascam US-122mkII interface -> Adobe Audition CC 2014

Using the Line output of the amp right now, but in the near-ish future I'm gonna get a Shure SM-57 microphone to put in front of the amp for better sound quality. Or better, record using both the Line output and the mic simultaneously then blend both signals together.

I was lucky enough to get a free sketch of my fursona from slowfag the other day. As soon as I saw it I knew it could be a lot more than just a sketch. Seff is a good guy, and he gave me the .psd file of the sketch when I asked if I could color it. A few hours of work later, here's a cool futuristic wallpaper!
