Doesn't sound bad at all to a non-flutist like me. How much experience do you have with the flute, anyway?
I..but..whut?
Well thank you.
I've played the flute since I was real little, like 8 or 9, but I only recently picked it up again.
I only barely remember how to read sheet music, and maybe half of the key names.
This was all just playing around with it.
You're welcome mate haha. I play the irish whistle, I know a good tone when i hear it especially out of a woodwind. :D

And something else

It was actually doing her that helped me work on Tuna's.
This was really the first one that I am really happy with, she turned out at least to me, good.
Enjoy.

Very nice! While the shoulders seem a bit blocky and the tail doesn't seem like it's connected to the body, the rest of the picture is very nice! Good proportions and a well-done (although quite sharply defined) face.

I like it!

Tuna's picture is also very nice, although there's a similar problem with the tail; it seems to attach to the body at a very strange angle. The hands are also very small and the shirt has some strange physics to it , but the designs are good, as well as the general proportion.

Sorry if I'm critiquing too much!

Well now that I've become better at anatomy now all I have to do is work on anthro anatomy.
Just one step at at time I suppose.
It really is fine, and its a great help.

Nice! Although, I will say that the wings seem to be at a bit of an odd spot; they look as though they're put a bit too far down the body and should be closer to the shoulders, like with this angel here.

The shape of the wings is also a bit funny. Wings don't have that sort of tuft of feathers at the top like that and one of the main joints of the wing is missing. Here's a tutorial that can explain it far better than I can, and here's a more detailed one if you want to read more about it. If you're going for more of the angel look though, you can ignore the joint issue (although I'd still take a look at the rest of it).

I do like the art, the proportions are nice and the eye is nicely done, but if you ask me to criticize I'm gonna criticize as much as I am capable.

I wonder what's going on in that pic though; any story behind it?

Oh those help out a lot and yes I figured out a while after I started this that wings were a little more complicated, though at the time I was shown that wings should be placed at least on a humanoid figure near the center of the back as that is where the center of gravity is and where they would be if humans would have them.

I've learned to draw better wings since then. I still like the sharp feathers though.

As for the story I'm still trying to remember what it was in the first place, I think I know what it was supposed to be, but eh, it doesn't quite fit right now.

Now something cute and fuzzy, creepy as hell.

Half cute. Half creepy. All well-drawn. I like it, it has multiple tails like a Kitsune.

Thanks, yeah I think I should stay away from trying anything fuzzy least it turn out looking like some kind of eldritch horror.

And now something a little less horrible. Just a character sketch of one of my older OC's from a while back.

Re: Keaoden's Sketchbook 7/20 (Laptop girl Named!)

Thanks to my watchers on DA she has a name now
Meet Neeva.
Image
This is my laptop, a cute little Gateway NV55S13u series.
She is defiantly not a gaming machine, far from it.

Being a quad core with a 6 GB of memory she is such a great work computer. She even greets me each time she wakes up, which is by far one of her best features.

Next to that is her amazing wireless abilities. Even when others have little to no connectivity she somehow finds a good signal, or a good enough one.

Unfortunately she doesn't play very well with other devices, and she often fights with our wireless printer which is an HP, to be fair that thing is a jerk.

Hope you enjoy what I think is a much better example of anime-ish style female.

I've cleaned up the lines a bit and darkened a few parts. Also made the watermark go away.
Enjoy

That's a very good drawing. But is it intentional that her arms cut off just below the elbows?

I would say they are more cut off further down the forearm but yes that is intentional.
She doesn't have hands per-say but can move things around in a virtual manner if that makes sense.
