Re: Moviedude's Misc Art Thread: Strike a pose!
For curiosity's sake, is anybody else besides myself unable to see the picture in my last post in Google Chrome or Firefox...? o_O
Anyway, I have some new art for you all. It's Tammy, striking a pose!
Normally, I don't think she would be quite this...flirty-ish. She's a little too reserved to be of the flirting type. But, I wanted to practice drawing a more complicated pose, and felt like drawing her, so...meh... Probably not going to shade this, but if I do I need to make a proper background too. Lazy background is lazy... >.>
Please feel free to critique, but know I'm already aware there are issues with Tammy's right arm. I had a lot of...trouble, to put it mildly, with that particular area, and made full use of Gimp's powers to do my best to correct it. There's probably still something wrong with it that I just can't see... T_T
Without further adieu, enjoy!
EDIT: Oh, and FA link would be riiiight...here

I have a... temporary fix I guess. (with firefox) Rightclick where the "image" text is, hit view image; it should relocate you to a white page that says "403 Forbidden", copy the URL from that page and paste it in a new tab... the image should show up.

They're working now, whether or not Moviedude fixed them or not. At least for me, anyways.

*Runs off to photobucket*
Okay, try now.
Ninja Edit: I just edited the posts using Photobucket links. It should show up now. Funny thing is, I could see the pic I just posted, so I have no idea whatsoever what's going on here...
Double ninja edit: They're working 'cause I just now fixed them.

Hmmm, her right arm looks fine to me, the left on the other hand - that one I just... something looks wrong but I can't quite tell what.

Looks like her hand is screwed up, her pinky on her left hand looks like a thumb, whereas how the thumb is positioned makes it look like a pinky.

Did I say right arm...? I mean her left... >.<
Anyway, after turning my head and examining the picture at odd angles, I see what you mean about the hand Lief... >.< Looks like hands are something I need to work on.
Thank you, both of you, for pointing that out.

you're welcome ^.^ If artists didn't critique each others work we'd improve a lot slower Having an outside perspective helps a lot.

Re: Moviedude's Misc Art Thread: Shading Practice with Jeice
What can I say: I wanted to practice some shading (and change my avatar), so I drew this up really quickly and did just that. Probably a lot of mistakes, I'll probably look at this later as some abomination created while under the influence of a foreign substance, but for now maybe you guys will enjoy it.

Thank you.Waka The Fox wrote:If you ask me, It looks PAWSOME!
In other news, I have a piece I've been waiting days to share. Behold!
Some of you might recognize this as an update of this drawing right here. The reason for that is I wanted to draw something so I could practice more with coloring and shading, but couldn't think of anything new to draw. So, I took this old drawing, spruced it up a little, and proceeded to create this.
I'm really proud of this one, but at the same time see a lot of mistakes I didn't fix. Regardless, I did a lot of experimentation with this piece, and overall like the results.
Expect something more furry-related in the near future.
(Link to larger version of the drawing here, if you are so inclined to look at it.)
FA Link here as well.

Hey, hey! I remember this one! I really love the job you did on colouring and linearting this one. The glowing effects are nicely done as well!
Awesome work, Moviedude!
