Holy crap, that dude in the mech-suit thing is awesome.
Just one question: Is there a letter missing from the word 'APE' on the right arm?
Is it supposed to say 'RAPE'? Or does 'APE' stand for something?

heh oops, probably should have posted the description I put on dA. yes its called the APE (and if you dont know the Ape is a large primate, simmilar to a gorilla) APE is also an acronym....

So this is a little more concept work for my comic which will eventually come out sometime. (no one has asked so I don’t have a set date, cause no one seems to care) also i hopefully will be able to ink and or color this in the near future

anyways, the scary mech is an Armored Personnel Enhancer MK1, or APE for short, and they are particularly popular with the Texan freedom fighters; something about turning NDI's former weapons against them. originally designed as cargo loaders, the Powered Utility Munitions Autoloader couldn’t travel far due to restrictions with power supplies, however with later advancements in stored energy, the PUMA was retrofitted with an internal power supply and twin 30mm cannons, thus the APE was born. The earliest model, the MK 1 was renowned for its surprising mobility, versatility and firepower in a tight spot. Ironically however, the early exo-suit models were not heavily armored and only truly succeeded in a ground support and crowd control rolls (a variant with a large shield and a non-lethal weapons platform was created). While the twin cannons excelled in keeping heads down, a well placed shot or a good old fashioned explosion would often cripple an APE, while also weighing in at about 2.5 tons; field units could not drag the damaged APEs back for repair. This lead to a great deal of them being captured, and eventually sold to the resistance. While no match for a heavily armed and armored MK3, the APE MK1 has turned out to be an exceptional addition to facilitate the resistances hit and run tactics.

for those who are interested the newer MK3 of the APE can be seen waayyyyy back on page 11
