Last time I saw that picture was when it was a work in progress that was all black and white and lines during the livestream. Final product looks pretty good.

I'm noticing an issue with the muzzle, and of course the eyes that you hate, but it's damn good nonetheless. Sad I missed the second livestream, you just had to start streaming after I gave up on waiting and went to play a game.

Too different to be a trace. I'm sure he used it as a reference, though, which isn't a big deal.

Not sure, considering I drew it on paper before I did the linework on Photoshop, and that if I overlay the image over the comic you linked, it doesn't exactly fit.
Although I do admit, I'm impressed with how well it came out, and that was the comic page I was using for a ref.

Noticed a few differences when you pointed it out. The top one looks like Katherin (I assume from the mark on her face). Where is the reference page for that cause I couldn't find it. If you didn't reference you did a dang good job o_o

The Kat picture was drawn useing my usual base for heads. Finer details filled in thanks to multiple images from my personal ref folder of Kat.
The one for the Intelligence General, though, I did use a ref for. The comic page that you linked. I still started with my usual base for drawing heads, but I payed closer attention to the details of his face then I did with the Kat one.

And don't worry about it. I'm not a fan of tracers either.

Just as a note: I did not draw this. I got this as a free art request a while ago from a user called "Vin". He managed to finish the lineart, but unfortunatly, never did get around to coloring. Soo... I decided to color it myself and give me a reason to use my new Photoshop CS5 :3.

Credit for the character, coloring, and interesting background goes to myself.
