Seele is starting to like it (Anthro-Art, beware of gore)

#1 Post by Seelensanger »

I am new to all the stuff about crossing animals and humans and thus have NO idea about fur patterns, species and all that biological stuff that has to be considered...
(I do know biology and bionomics, but not in context of anthropomorphic drawings)

Anyway, my first attempt went into the direction of Tom's fox clan. (Always liked foxes)

(Nevermind the pants and shoes... I wasn't in the mood for clothing -.-)
I know, I have yet to try something original. In future, I will draw more anthro stuff to learn a little more about it and MAYBE even get better at it :|

Yes, you should probably put up a warning in the thread's title. It decreases the chance of me(and possibly other gore-lovers) missing out on it.

Love the second picture. What kind of anmal is that, I can't tell.

@Narane:
Cannibalism is teh win.

@Sithil:
Done. And it's supposed to be a kind of fox. I am not yet ready for tiger fur patterns so I keep to foxes for now ^^

@Keldoth:
He had a few already, not just one ;)

I sense its useless to wait for constructive criticism, so I'll just fire away ^^

Here's one I did trying out a sideview female in some advanced stance. (Not sure what animal it is, though... might be a lioness)
Its sliding backwards, yay!

That pose is really good! I really like the feet |D .
Though if I may say so. it lacks some.. emotion in the movements in my opinion. the only places where you can locate "emotion of movement" are the feet and the claw.

Though that's just me.. I love having emotional movement in art :wink:

I understand perfectly what you mean. :)
That particular issue of mine has been around for a while now... it seems to pop up whenever I don't spend my due time composing a picture. That lioness-sorta-thing above was drawn rather quickly and the indications of movement shrank down to dust and clawmarks ~~

I will work on that, thank you.

And here's the finished GoreFox from above... hope it isn't too big. ._."

I know, I know, the feet are too small, the gore-placement doesn't make any sense and the hair looks shabby... I got lazy O_o
